"Liliane Mayor, you're hereby expelled from this school. You may start packing as you'll take your leave tonight," The principle said sternly.

"NO! It wasn't me I swear! The spell was going great, but Evie sabotaged it!" cried a girl, tears forming in her eyes.

"Me? Liliane how could you blame your own friend? I tried to stop you, but you never stopped and listened to me!" exclaimed Evie.

"What? You-"

"That's enough jabber Liliane, go and pack up. The decision has been made, I'm sorry. You should have thought  twice before carrying out such a dangerous spell on your own young lady," sighed the principle singed her report card as 'EXPELLED'.

The girl looked dumbstruck. Was she really getting blamed for something she didn't do? "Fine, I'm sick of you and this school anyway," said the girl, and stomped out of the principle's office.

"If only Irish was still here...." she thought as she started stuffing her duffel bag with all of her belongings. A hot tear rolled down her cheeks. She tried her best to stay tough in front of the principle and...her  just now, but inside she was having a major breakdown.

She aggressively wiped her tears and stood up to leave. The girl-Liliane, took one last look of the room. Her paper white hair brushing onto her face, as a soft breeze swept by.

She sighed, and walked out of the room. Staying in there longer would only hurt her even more. She had to leave this dreadful and injustice place as fast as she could.

That's when she made up her mind. She was never returning back there without fixing what was meant to be fixed. Her mom's words flooded into her head; "Nothing's as it seems Liliane, nothing's as it seems.."

Liliane, scoffed at the thought of that. Oh how she wished she had listened to her mother's unusual choice of words back then. Mothers know best they say, even if the things they say are weird and suspicious at times.

She understood her lesson and decided never ever to step a foot in here as she ran home vulnerably.

5 weeks later

Liliane's parents didn't scold or shout at her. Instead they advised her to do better in the future. 2 weeks have past since Liliane started attending a government school near her house. Finally her life was drama free, but the thought of her mistake still haunted her.

She frequently had nightmares of demons and funerals. Although it bothered her a lot, she heed no attention to it and carried on with her life. She was so done with that school, she only cared about her study's in her new school and nothing about the past. But one dreadful day it all changed.

Liliane had just came home from school. Everyone was nice there and she was able to make friends easily. She happily skipped home and knocked on the door, a bright smile visible on her face. "Mom, are you there?" she asked in a soft and gentle voice. Liliane could see her car parked outside.

No reply

She knocked several more times before fishing out the spare key from her schoolbag. "What's mom up to? Why isn't she answering the door?" Liliane thought out loud, before turning the knob open.

Her heart stopped as her eyes widened with fear. The sight that welcomed her was surely not a sight to see. She felt like screaming, but she couldn't find her voice. Her bag dropped onto the floor and made a thud sound.

Liliane's mind started racing as she stared at the sight in front of her. Her parent's bodies were disfigured and were hanging off the ceiling, their blood dripping onto the carpet below. A single drop of blood landed on Liliane's cheek. Her body shivered at her sight of her parents body.

She slowly brought her hand to her face and wiped the blood. A brief second later, she seemed to have found her voice, so she screamed. She screamed so loudly that her neighbors ran out of their houses to see what was wrong. They too froze at the sight they were welcomed with.

She ran out to her lawn and sat in a crouched motion. The neighbors were in front of her house. They did not dare to go near any further. Without anyone there to console her, Liliane held her hands burying her face in it. Moments later, she realized her hands were wet from the tears dripped down from her eyes.

Siren sounds were heard in the distance. Seems like someone had phoned the police and hospital, but that wasn't important now. Liliane knew what happened. Everyone thought it was a murder, but Liliane knew the truth. A painful truth of betrayal.

She knew if she told the police about the truth, they might send her to a mental hospital thinking she was traumatized. I mean would someone believe a girl who says her parents got killed by a demon she created?

Liliane knew none of this would have happened if a certain 'someone' hadn't interfered and ruined the whole thing. There was only one thing she could think of at the moment. Something she couldn't take her mind off, of. Her bluebell eyes filled with rage, she promised that day...

"I will get my revenge Evie Candlewoods...just you wait..."
