I had been staying with the Alliance for a while. We had gone through good times, but we still had out flaws. Tate always over prepared and was nervous. Dennis and Natalie could be a bit stuck-up and entitled sometimes. Alester's anger issues sometimes got the best of him. Oliver wasn't the best at fighting, but kept trying to get into the fights. Miranda was always kind of nervous to fight and scared to get hit. Tate and Natalie were fighting. Natalie wanted to go out, but didn't want to tell anyone where she was going. Tate refused, as she felt it would be unsafe for her to go and not tell anyone where she would be. "But what if you get in trouble and we don't know where you are?" Tate asked. Natalie sighed as she put on her jacket. "I'll be FINE. C'mon, I'm gonna go now." She said rushing to the door. Dennis was a bit nervous. "I dunno, sis. Maybe Tate has a point?" He said walking in front of her to get her attention. Natalie pushed him out of the way and stormed out the door of the base.

I mimed a sigh and shook my head. Miranda got a little upset, her trust issues creeping up to her. I assumed she was worried that her girlfriend just left and didn't tell her where she was going. I got up and walked out the door without the others noticing. I walked around The Ruined Dimension, looking for Natalie. I shivered at the cold wind as the fog swirled around my legs. I held my jacket closer to me. My older brother had given it to me as a birthday gift and I was very attached to it. I saw a figure dash across my peripheral vision. I ran to it, wondering if it was Natalie. As I followed it mindlessly, I found myself lost and in an alleyway. I looked around, confused. "Well, well, well. Look who I've got in the palm of my hand." A girl's voice said behind me. It person kicked my back and pinned me to the concrete. I struggled, trying to get them off of me. The person got off of me and used some sort of telepathy to pick me up and throw me into the wall, then flip me around to face them. She had short, choppy, black hair. Shadows swirled around her, less than a Scout, but enough to be completely corrupted. She had pale skin and a deep, purple eye. Allison. She smiled cruelly at me. "Hello there, Parker." She growled. I struggled to get out of her shadow-telepathy. Allison rolled her eyes. "Don't you know by know that it's almost impossible to get out of my mother's magic? Ah, speaking of her, she really misses your fighting skills." Her smiled faltered and she grimaced. "She admired your skills. She said you were very. Useful." She said behind her gritted teeth.

I rolled my eyes and smirked a little. I felt a tearing pain in my chest. "I'LL WIPE THAT SMIRK RIGHT OFF YOUR SORRY FACE!!!" Allison screamed at me. Her shadows wrapped around me and I felt a horrible, tearing pain. Anger and rage filled Allison's one eye. I wanted to scream. My body felt like it was being torn apart. I started crying out of pain. I wanted to scream out so bad, but I couldn't. I still had not voice. Allison was smiling grimly at me, but tears started to roll down her cheeks. I felt a little bit of sympathy for her, but was too blinded by my pain. The pain suddenly stopped and I fell to the ground as another voice yelled, "Alli! We don't have time for this!" I looked up weakly. My nose was bleeding and my head had a large wound in it. Allison was looking over to the person who yelled. It was her brother William. He grabbed onto her hand and saw someone coming towards them. He ran off, dragging Allison behind him. The person William saw bolted in to the alleyway. It was Natalie. She ran over to me and examined my wounds. She took out a few handkerchief from her pocket and wiped my wound with one. She took a larger one and wrapped it around my head. "Can you stand? What did she do to you? Are you alright?" She asked me. I sat up weakly and wiped some of the blood from my nose. Natalie got another handkerchief and held it to my nose. I took it and kept it to my nose. Natalie took one of my arms and put it over her shoulder. She pulled me up and helped me stand. "I'm sorry..." She said. I just shivered, pain still in my stomach. She walked me back over to the base. Tate opened the door and gasped. "Nat! What happened to them!?" She pretty much screamed. Natalie winced. "They ran into Allison and William." Tate froze a little and whimpered a bit. Natalie handed me over to Tate. Tate picked me up and walked me over to a couch. I was still holding the handkerchief to my nose. Tate got some clean rags and a bottle of disinfectant. She unwrapped Natalie's makeshift bandage and put some disinfectant on the rag. She padded the rag on my wound. I winced a little, tearing up a bit. Tate took the other rag and wrapped it around my head. She snuggled me a bit as I still kept the rag to my nose. Tate gave me another rag and I held that one to my nose. "Can you stay for a while? Like, at the base?" She asked. I smiled and nodded. Tate smiled and hugged me.

Once the others, except for Natalie, had gone to bed, I decided to ask Natalie. I wrote, 'So, why did you go out anyways?' Natalie read it. "Well, I got a note this morning that Alli would be out here tonight. It was from her. I didn't want you guys to worry about it, so I went by myself." I nodded slowly. Natalie stood up. "Well, I'll see you in the morning. Night." She said, walking to her room. I leaned back and relaxed, being careful with my head, as it was still wounded. I looked at a blank page of my notebook. I wondered what to write. I thought of Allison and William. How we used to be so close. Used to be friends. But now, we were enemies.
