I was in the Great Hall, sitting across from my girlfriend (Ms. Lily Evans) , when the pitter-patter of footsteps filled the room. It was early in the morning when me and Lily were in the great hall, because it was then that me and Lily would be able to spend more time together, without any major interruptions. But today was obviously an unlucky day for us, when the spaces next to us were suddenly taken up by a group of boys in the same house as us, the Marauders.

James and Remus surrounded Lily, as she rolled her eyes, while the other two childish teens seated themselves next to me. "So ladies, what you doing up so early, on this fine morning," came the sway voice of Sirius Black, which also broke the comfortable silence, that had encased me and Lily. "Trying to get away from you, what else." I blandly responded, my voice dripping with disinterest.

But before he could responds the stupido across the table spoke, "Well on another note, my precious Lily-Flower, have you had a chance to rethink your, ever so rude, answer to my offer." He paused, " So what do you say, Hogsmeade, this weekend. You and me. Butterbeer in the Three Broomsticks. No distractions. Just us." I groaned, immediately, I mean who wouldn't, hes done this everyday for the past five years at Hogwarts. He didn't even know her current relationship status, and he's asking her out. For all he knows she could be dating Severus, but she wasn't, she was dating ME! I was a ticking time-bomb when it came to James Potter, and he just pushed me over the edge to exploding.

I Saw Red! I stood up and all attention, at the table, was drawn on me. And Lily have me an intriguing look, hoping I was doing what I was doing, so she could finally be at rest of Mr. James Fleamont Potter.

"Listen here, Mr.Potter. You don't know a lot of things about poor, old Lily here. And you especially don't know if she is taken, or not. Now I expect you, and your doofus friends to leave me, and my Girlfriend, alone. Now!"

He, Sirius and Peter, looked at me with wide eyes and with their mouths agape. Remus started cackling, "James, buddy, you mean to tell me that, you really didn't know Lily was taken? Jeez.... I knew the minute they got together. Lily ran and told me" he tried to suppress the giggles that wanted too escape, to no avail.

Then Mr.Black, and Pettigrew, burst out laughing at James' face. While they were distracted, teasing him, and giggling, me and Lils made our escape, and headed towards potions class, with Professor Slughorn, hearing their echoing voices, and laughs, throughout the school.
