13 Cavalry Battle

You walked towards the stage where Midnight was standing. The next event was the Cavalry Battle. Midnight explained the rules of the event. It was all just a game of capture the flag with group heads with points.

Midnight: Your individual points values start at five at the bottom! So the student who took last is worth five points, next up is worth ten, get it? And...

You caught on real quick, your eyes shot towards Izuku. But it seemed you weren't the only one.

Midnight: Our first place participant is worth ten million points!!!

He was covered in sweat, you smirked thinking about how you were going to have so much fun with this game.

You could see the pressure of everyone ready to take his points sink in.

Midnight continued to explain the rest of the rules to us and finally we all were released to choose teams.

Everyone from our class was avoiding you, seeing the way you lose your temper at that kid outside of the class that day scared them cold. But it seemed they were eager to team up with bakugou.

"Hmmm smart choice, Bakugou has high points and is still able to hold his own against others. Maybe I should try to join him too." You were thinking quick, you only had 15 minutes to decide and most people probably had their groups already.

Y/n: Bakugou!

Your voice was enough to catch his attention. You smirk in reply at his reaction to you saying his name.

Y/n: You wanna team up?

You made your way through the horde of people surrounding him. He looked you dead in the eyes.

Bakugou: No.

He then turned and began asking for people's quirks to figure out who would work best in battle.

Y/n: Bakugou! Why not! I am a great addition!

He didn't even flinch at your yelling.

That irritated you.

Y/n: You will regret this! I will knock you so far down the ranks, you won't make the cut for the next round.

You scowled at him as you walked off.

Some of the people around him grew a worried expression on their faces.

Bakugou was worried by your comment too, but didn't show it at all.

You found yourself with no team. You spotted the boy that you scared the other day.

Y/n: Hey! I know I was harsh when we first met but let's team up. I can guarantee you a win!

He looked at you strangely.

Shinsou: I will accept your offer, only because I know that you are powerful enough to hold your promise of getting to the next round.

You nodded your head in agreement.

You were questioned who else was in his group. He put it simply.

Shinsou: Oh don't worry about it.

You realized what his quirk was very quickly by how your other teammates were acting.

Y/n: You have a controlly quirk don't you?

He only smiled slightly at you. It must have been his way of answering.

Y/n: I say, we don't go for the top prize like everyone else. Everyone will be going to the ten mil, while we will be snatching small amounts slowly adding up. We don't have to hurl into the battle too much. I still have enough points to sustain us a little.
