I Am Dead, Am I? (HWARANG X Male Reader)

VI : Rival

It's gonna be a shiteshow when I enter inside. These two have a rivalry at the start of the story.

"Do you know them?" Uncle asks and I shake my head.

"Really? You keep watching them as if you know their stories" I nervously laugh.

"Silly Uncle, I'm new to this spot and how is it possible that I would potentially know individuals here?"

"That's correct, we better get going then. We don't want to be late for the drinks" he tugs me as we enter the place.

"These guys again," Uncle says.

"What do you mean Uncle?"

"That person and that" as he points at Ban-Ryu's group and Soo-Ho's group after.

"People flock them and it's getting to my nerves as a fine bachelor who couldn't get a look at the ladies when they're here" I giggle to Uncle's rant. 

"Let's just ignore them," he says after as the people starting to gather up to them. Uncle cue a waiter to find a place for us.

"Where's your merchant friend Uncle?" we sit down and the waiter pours us drinks.

"To be honest with you F/N, no one invited me to be here, I just need someone to come here with me and you're already at the right age to be mingling. Sorry for dragging you here" he gulps. I want to be angry but I can't because it will cause a ruckus. I already hear the two outside bickering.

"It's fine Uncle" I smile forcibly and drink.

"Are you sure?"

"You want me too?" I said in a threatening tone. He gives up and eats the waiter served. I believe the commotion caused by the two groups died down but it doesn't stop there. Someone opens our room and who do I see? The group of Su-Ho.

"My apologies for the interruption but we have run out of place to occupy these guests," says a manager-i think.

"What does it have to do with us?" Uncle asks which seems pissed while I am screaming internally because I know what's gonna happen.

"We could hope to join you here, do not worry about the beverages and food, I will pay. We can set up another table if you want your privacy" Soo-Ho offers but Uncle is still kinda annoyed knowing what he said a while back.

"Why our room is picked? May I ask?" I said and I caught to my left view that Su-Ho is looking right at me.

"Ban-Ryu grabbed the last room available and this place is one of the biggest spaces in here, quite expensive too" Soo-Ho replies which made me look to Uncle.

"He is not wrong is not expensive but still" I cover Uncle's mouth and whisper something to him.

"Uncle, can we just let this slide off? We can leave early after we finish our food and drinks" It's true though, I rather let them have the place and leave ever since Soo-Ho showed up.

"Fine? We will leave, my mood already ruined because of them" I feel bad for Uncle.

"We agree for you to be here, we will just leave after we finish here" Uncle announces and the group is happy but Soo-Ho is still looking at me as if.

"I'm Soo-Ho" he offers his hand.

"Nice to meet you, I'm F/N and this is my boss, Jong-Ki" I received it with an awkward smile.

"You are the owner of the infamous gambling house" Uncle snickers and drinks more.

"He isn't much of a talker, May I?" I nod and he sits down beside me. His other friends sit near Uncle which has a grumpy face chugging the drink.
