0.5 - Introduction

Camp Half-Blood, the supposed only safe place for Greek Demigods was a place where the future heroes can hone their skills and live out monster free lives. Only the lifespan of demigods were so low that even in ancient times people would consider them dying young. Aurora had never really particularly liked being a demigod. Long hours of training, constantly fighting for her life and sharing a room with her siblings were not really at her top 10 list of things that she wants in life. Honestly all she really wanted to do was sing and dance.

Aurora had a reputation at camp. She is the co-head counsellor with Lee Fletcher of cabin 7 and often led the sing-alongs by the campfire. She probably trained the most out of her siblings, making sure that she was well versed in all forms of combat, should the time come that she can no longer sit far away and shoot arrows. She was well respected, as a camper who has been coming to camp for the summer since she was 9, a lot of people knew who she was, and loved her or looked up to her. She had snake-like eyes, which was ironic because children of Apollo hated snakes, long jet black hair, and was just stunning as if she was a child of Aphrodite. Apollo clearly had favourites, and it just so happened that Aurora was one of them.

"Mommy I don't want to go! This place seems scary." Aurora said while holding her mothers hand at the top of Half Blood Hill.

"Oh daughter I know, but this is the only place that is safe for you. You need to learn to control your powers and training at camp is the best way to do that." Her mother said while bending down to help fix her outfit.

"Well that's stupid." Aurora huffed and crossed her arms.

"Language! We don't use those words around here." Her mother scolded.

"Sorry mommy." Aurora mumbled.

"I know you don't want to go, but maybe you'll be able to find some good friends here, and maybe even fall in love! Who knows. I just know that you are destined for great things." Her mother said while sighing. She already knew who her daughter's godly parent was, since Apollo had revealed himself not too long after Aurora was born. She was scared of course, but it was just the nature of the life of a demigod. Children are treated like adults, and get sent off to fight in a war that they never caused. She thought it was beyond fucked up, but she knew that her child was a special one. She just hoped that her daughter would come back to her in one piece.

"Come on, step across the border baby, I can't follow you after that, but I promise to come back to pick you up by the end of the summer." Her mother assured Aurora.

"Promise?" Aurora held out her pinky finger.

"Promise!" Her mom linked her pinky finger with Aurora's and Aurora's face immediately lit up.

The moment the 9 year old walked across the border she was met with 2 older looking demigods doing patrol of the borders.

"Are you a new demigod? What is your name?" Luke asked the child.

"Aurora Kim and um? Yeah? I think being able to cross the border was pretty obvious." Aurora scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Luke! Don't ask dumb questions! I think we should get you to the big house. You're lucky! I think lunch just started." Annabeth said while sending out a glare towards Luke. The older boy just put up his hands as if to say, 'I didn't do anything wrong!'

"Oh! Lunch sounds good. Are we ready to go then?" Aurora asked Annabeth before throwing a smug look at Luke.

Annabeth nodded and led her towards the pavilion where everyone normally ate lunch. She spotted Mr.D and Chiron and brought the young girl over to them.

"This is Aurora Kim. She crossed the border and left her mom behind. She's definitely a demigod right?" Annabeth whispered to chiron.

"Seems like it. She can join the Herm-" Chiron gasped as a golden sun with 21 rays made of arrows blinds them as it spun over this child's head.

"It has been determined! Apollo, Lord of the sun, light, healing, music, archery and truth. All hail Aurora Kim, the daughter of Apollo." Chiron said as he knelt as far down as his horse legs could go. The rest of the campers stopped eating and also knelt down in recognition of the newly claimed demigod.

"Awesome!" Aurora said, smiling to herself. Unknown to her, many people had been Apollo's children being claimed, but no one has ever seen such a bright glow come off someone in waves. It was almost like she was the sun and the Apollo campers looked nervously around at each other. They just knew that this girl was going to be someone important.

For the next 5 years, Aurora was a force to be reckoned with. Right after she got claimed by Apollo she was shown Cabin 7 and there, a present was already waiting for her, which is unheard of for demigod children. A cute necklace that had a note saying that 'It can be anything you want it to be. Use it well, my sunshine.' She quickly figured out that whatever she thought that she needed, her necklace would transform into it. Even if she desperately needed a pen, the necklace would transform. She would name this necklace αλλαγή (allagí) or change and it would be her most helpful tool in her years to come. She was prepared for anything to come her way. Well, unless you count a bulldozer of a son of Poseidon ready to ruin her life, just about everything.

"Beautiful! The time for love has come. It has been far too long since I have had a chance to work my magic." Aphrodite clapped excitedly from her throne on Mount Olympus. Ares, who saw the excited look on his girlfriend's face, shook his head.

"Good luck to those bozo's."

So i didn't complete my other stories but instead i am starting a new one...yeah im sorry...I have no excuses. I just kind of lost motivation for the other two. Harry potter just doesn't hit the same anymore, neither does Meteor Garden. 

ANYWAYS percy jackson! my favourite series from my childhood, and hence, my favourite kpop group atm aespa. The crossover is insane I love it.
