Chapter 5 - Anger

June 24th

Savannah's POV

Me and Jacob have been together a week now, some people were peaved that I was his mate. Probably because before we figure that out, nearly all the Mateless girls were drooling over him, needles to say I've had 3 sets of pins shoved in the bottom of my shoes and 3 girls almost died because of this. Yeah, Jacob's more protective then I thought. But then again I did have to go to the hospital the first time and get my foot bandaged. Its nice to see that he cares about me, it's just the whole wolfing out thing still creeps me out a bit. Especially if its to do with anger.

"So, Jacob not eating with us today?" Amity asked.

"He'll probably be here later, he had to go for a football meeting." I explained. "I don't really like it when we were apart. But he has his hobbies and I have mine, and mine include eating. playing video games and watching anime."

Just then some blond haired girl came up to us.

"Who are you?" Amity asked

"I'm Sarah" she replied, giving a obviously fake smile.

"What do you want?" Amity questioned.

"I want you to stay away from Jacob!" Sarah said, pointing at me.

"Sorry, can't do that. If you haven't heard, we're kinda mates so...yeah." I replied.

"I don't give 2 shits bout if you're his mate, stay away from him. He's mine!" she exclaimed.

"Yeah.. and I want to not be surrounded by other people, but neither of those things are going to happen" I spat back.

You tell her! Shiro cheered.

"You're just so pathetic and so are all your friends. I can't believe that Jacob would want to spend time with you losers." She said, with a smug look on her face.

I've snapped.

"Listen to me you little bitch! You can insult me but don't you dare bring my friends into this!' I yelled.

"God, I don't understand why he would even want to be near you, he must be a complete and utter moron of a twat to rather be with you."

"What did you just say?" I said, aggressively.

"I said that Jacob must be an utter moron of a twit if he'd rather be with you" she repeated.

Now I was pissed.

"Don't you fucking dare insult Jacob! At least he's not a bitch like you" growled. I felt my body twitch and tingle.

"What did you just say to me?!" Sarah screamed.

"I said you're a bitch" I repeated.

"That's it!" she went down on all fours as she morphed into her wolf form.

I also went wolf. Sarah's wolf was pure blond with ocean green eyes, but she was slightly skinny.

She jumped at me but I kicked her back against the wall. I went for her and I hit her in the stomach. But then she managed to kick one of my legs, making me off balance and causing me to flop on the floor. She then went to dive at me but I rolled out the way and scratched her face. I caught the corner of her eye causing her to scream with pain. I used this to my advantage and pinned her against the wall, so she had trouble breathing. I was about to scratch her again but that's when Jacob appeared.

Jacob's POV

I ran up to Savannah and managed to calm her down, but not without her totally freaking out. After she had turned back to her human state, and had gotten dressed all she did was stare at her hands. As if in shock and was afraid to move.

"Savannah..." I began "Its okay, remember when-"

"No!!" when I tried to put my arm around her she screamed "I'm a monster"

"you're not a monster, you just-"

"NO! Just please. please just stay away from me" Then she went running off.

"Savannah!" I called out. "What should I do. should I go after her?'

Amity shook her head. "Just leave her be for now"

So here I sit, worrying like hell, waiting for her to come back.
