Its been two days since I arrived in the demon slayer world and my wound is healing nicely. Looking at Rui I smiled while he giggled chasing the butterfly's around the estate. Seeing him finally be to play like a normal healthy child warmed my heart.
Kokushibou sat near me in the shade since I haven't cured him yet as Akaza trained on the left side of the garden while Douma was creating ice sculptures. Sighing in peace I slowly stood up before hearing rapid footsteps and turned seeing Tanjiro running towards me.
Tanjiro: Zoe-san!
Stopping in front off me he placed his box down and panted softly while I looked at him confused.
Me: yes Tanjiro
Tanjiro: y you can c cure my sister?!
I smiled gently and nodded before I gestured for him to bring Nezuko into the shade.
Akaza: "walks up to me" Zoe are you sure?
Me: "smiles" I'll be fine Akaza
Nezuko slowly stood out of her box and hummed confused at me before I giggled and smiled gently at her.
Me: hi Nezuko I'm gonna help you, but I need you to trust me ok?
She nodded and I smiled before gently cutting her hand and then I cut mine then proceeded to place it against hers. Feeling the blood attack me I grunted before a blue glow surrounded me and blue tendrils circled us and I smiled when the light died down.
Her slit eyes returned to normal as her claws dulled, suddenly she lunged for me and hugged me. Shocked I hugged back as I felt her form tremble slightly, feeling my motherly instincts kick in I rubbed her back.
Me: shh it's ok Nezuko "looks at Tanjiro" I'm sorry it's not all the way but I removed his curse and she shouldn't have a craving for human anymore
Tanjiro: "tears up" t thank you!
I smiled and giggled weakly before Rui came running up to me and looked at Nezuko before holding out his hand to her as she looked at sun with hesitant.
Me: it's ok Nezuko "smiles" the sun won't hurt you now
Taking a slow step into the sun she hummed in confusion at not being burned and with Rui's help she ran around playing with him and giggling while I smiled along side Tanjiro and Kokushibou before yawning and leaned against said demon.
Slowly closing my eyes I felt Kokushibou gently move me to his lap were I fell into darkness at the sound of Nezuko and Rui laughing and having fun.
In the dream
Opening my eyes I looked around seeing nothing but darkness before a bright light filled the area and I grunted closing my eyes, when the light died down I opened my eyes and gasped at what I saw.
