Continuation of chapter 36 which tells about Asta saving Yuno from a large needle that Haku threw at Yuno so Asta would protect him, and it broke the seal inside Yuno's body because he saw the incident and Yuno and Haku's resistance occurred in the last part Yuno managed to damage the mask and showing the face behind the mask well I found an interesting comment in the previous chapter saying 'why doesn't Asta use anti magic'

before we start the story in this chapter I will show you the flashback of yesterday's chapter

flashback Asta against haku

Haku:oh my, you troublesome child
why don't you just give up?

Asta:I don't need your advice to give up fighting you right?

Haku:(damn, this kid is too strong to fight me)in her thought

Asta:(I have to get Yuno out of this block of ice,but how?)in her thought

Asta always uses his anti-magic but it's useless because the ice blocks always reshape into ice blocks

Asta:(why my power useless against his ice power)in her thought

Haku:looks like your anti-magic power is useless against me

Asta:tch..(what i do?think about it Asta)talk to herself

Haku:you might be able to dispel someone's magic with your anti-magic sword but if you aim your anti-magic at the ice block it won't work because the ice block will fast reshape(even if you say that this kid is really hard to beat)

Haku:(what if I point my gun at the other child*point at Yuno*)

Asta:(what does she want to do?)

Haku attacks Yuno with the intention of having Asta protect him Asta who saw that pulled Yuno's body so it wouldn't hit him

Haku:(if it continues like this I can beat it) throw the big needles to Yuno

in that little scene Asta thinks of something

Asta:I may not be able to defeat him using my anti-magic but I can use his weapon*Asta takes a large needle and deflects the weapon he throws*

Haku is also thinking the same thing he accelerates the movement of the weapons he has towards Yuno and Asta

Asta:i've told you ,i'm not lose...

Haku throws weapons back faster

Asta:(tch..even if i use these eyes it can't be seen and if i use devil union i can hurt people around me plus that person must know where i am right now)looks like Asta's eyes have a difference where A/N:like growing a second tomoe in the anime naruto

Haku throws his weapon at Asta again to injure him

Asta:(i can see it the movement)

Haku:(what?!!again..then how about this?*make more large needles aimed at Yuno for Asta to protect him and will receive this weapon*)

Yuno opens his eyes and sees Asta's body covered in blood from protecting himself who was unconscious

flashback over...

Yuno:You are the one who talked to me in that forest

A/N:broke his mask so he could see the face

Haku:I have told you in the forest, if a woman knows the meaning of love for a man, she will do whatever she is told to do even if it endangers her life.

Yuno:*cries*why?

Haku:don't you want to kill me because you have a reason because I already killed your friend no.....the one you consider as a brother to you

Yuno:tch...*punched Haku's cheek*

Yami who saw what happened to Haku and Yuno rushed to fight Giodolo using Dark slash

Haku who saw Yami use his magic on his sword rushed to run towards Giodolo which caused Haku to sacrifice himself as a shield to protect the one he liked.The scene of that incident left everyone shocked by what Haku did to Giodolo

Noelle who saw the ice block that had shattered past Yuno rushed towards Asta who was no longer breathing as well as Leo and Mimosa passed Yuno.

Noelle:*fall to the ground see Asta*He's body cold*shed tears*why..?why?I'm late to protect you again *Noelle remembers something about her new magic*Mimosa please help me can you use healing magic of yourself and me to bring Asta back to life

Mimosa:hai..!

They both use their magic to revive Asta but can't because Noelle can't control her new magic

Noelle:why?

Mimosa:Noelle san looks like we can't because time Noelle san has a strong reason to revive Asta and is able to control your magic well

Noelle:why?*hug Asta with cry loud*

Seen mercenary magic knight reinforcements appear with their boss
