Continuation of chapter 37 which tells about the flashback of Asta's fight against Haku, Asta can avoid Haku's weapon aimed at him but, Haku has an idea if he points his weapon at Yuno Asta will definitely protect him. Asta uses Anti magic but it is useless against him because the ice blocks can regenerate very quickly if Asta uses devil union that person will know where Asta is, and at the end of the chapter Haku protects Giodolo because he sees Yami's attack directed at Giodolo.

this chapter opens where it looks like all the mercenary magic knights reveal themselves as well as the boss named Dozo who wears a suit and wears a small stick
