"Did everyone finish the questions from last class? If there was any you missed, you're welcome to discuss with your neighbor and then hand them up front." Ms. Jackson announced at the beginning of the Monday morning class. Although they sat next to each other, Harry and Louis hadn't spoken a single word since their encounters at the party. Louis had been gone the next time Harry woke up, with a horrible pain in his neck by the way. He looked down at the paper in front of him and sighed at the lack of answers on it.

"Do you want help?" Louis quietly asked sitting next to him. Harry looked over and smiled.

"Well, unless you feel like showing me your entire ass answer sheet, I don't think there's much help to give." Harry folded and unfolded an edge of the paper.

"Just take it Harry. There's no sense in you getting a zero on it." Louis shrugged and slid his paper onto Harry's desk.

"Thanks." He delicately reached over and gave Louis' hand a quick squeeze. The blush that washed over his features was adorable and something he wanted to see on repeat in his head all day long. Harry quickly scribbled down the answers and signed his name on the top before stacking them together and passing them towards the front. "Thank you Louis." He whispered again close to the boy's ear, and he shivered at the feeling of Harry's warm breath.

"You're welcome. But don't get too chummy dickhead." Louis spat, but a grin rested at one side of his lips.

"We never got to finish what we started." Harry leaned in again, and he saw Louis swallow.

"Bummer." He stated without making eye contact.

"I know, I was so hoping to know how your lips felt around--"

"Harry, stop it." Loui shifted in his seat a bit.

"Why? Something upsetting you? I bet you've thought about it Lou," Harry lowered his voice even more, "Maybe even jacked off to it." Louis' eyes widened a bit and he looked over at Harry.

"You're a pervert." Louis spat.

"And you're in denial." Harry leaned away, and felt a small bubble of concern. He hoped he hadn't taken it too far.

"'M not in denial." He mumbled under his breath. "You're just horny and have got an awful lot of wishful thinking going on. Speaking of, we should discuss your life choices." Louis rambled, but gained a bit of confidence back.

"Yeah? What about them?" Harry sarcastically rested his chin in his hand.

"They're horrible. I know you just want sex." Louis spat. "You're disgusting." Harry's demeanor instantly fell, and he felt like absolute shit. Louis' words hit him like a brick wall. Yeah he likes sex, but who doesn't? He told himself Louis was just rebutting the things he'd said, and that maybe he really had taken it too far. Harry just turned away from Louis and stayed silent as Ms. Jackson started talking.

"We are officially done with the Romeo and Juliet unit! We're going to be moving into something a little different now. This next project will be with your assigned partners, and you'll be taking a book of your choice and doing a report on it in powerpoint form. I'll hand out the criteria in a bit, but I want you to use the period to decide on a novel to read." Harry froze and couldn't bring himself to look at Louis. Instead, he tugged at a loose thread on the sleeve of his sweater.

""M sorry." Harry heard a quiet mumble.

"Huh?" He turned his head just a bit.

"'M sorry. You're not disgusting, I was just upset." Louis apologized with his head down.

"My choices may not always be the best, but I really didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. So, I'm sorry too." Harry responded.

"Okay enough with the mushy shit, what do you want to read? A classic or something more modern?"
