Syo POV
Toko's always liked the smell of old books, one of the ways to positively trigger her to front I hum lightly as I bike down to the library I've been front stuck since Friday night, the bodies 'parents' had a really bad fight, one of the ones that ended with a police call, I hope the books can help, She's not really a fan of me fronting at school, she wants to protect her reputation as the quiet girl I park the bike and lock it.
I take a deep breath and suck in my tongue, now to pretend to be Toko, not my favorite thing to do I walk into the library towards the back some of the books at the very back don't even have barcodes, they've just been sitting on the shelf since this place first opened I reach for a book
"Toko? Good morning" I turn towards Byakuya
"No, sorry"
"Oh? Are you a alter?" I nod "I see, it's nice to meet you, I'm Bya-"
"I know who you are" I turn back to the bookshelf
"Oh... well, May I know who you are?"
"Syo. Genocider Syo"
"Alright... May I ask what your doing here?"
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to look for a book I need for a project, and then I saw you back here and came to say hello because I assumed you were Toko"
"Mm"
I pick one of the books off the shelf
"And, what are you doing here? You don't seem to be the type that likes libraries"
"I'm not. I'm trying to get Toko to front, she doesn't like me going to the school and I've been front stuck all weekend" I open the book
"I see, and your doing that by...?"
"The smell of old books is a positive trigger" I notice her coming out now take over Toko, Goddamnit I'm fucking tired
Toko POV
I blink a few times, and push my glasses up as I snap the book shut

"Um?" I jump and fumble the book before looking over at him
"T-Toko?"
"Yeah... yeah"
"You okay?"
"Yeah, you just startled me" shit "n-not- not like it was your fault-"
"Oh, no, don't worry" he smirks "I'm glad your back, Genocider kinda scares me"
"Yeah, sorry about them, they scare me too"
I sigh, putting the book back on the shelf
"Everything okay?
"Yes, just mad at Syo" he nods
"if you wouldn't mind, can we walk to school together?" My heart starts roaring and I smile
"Gladly"
We walk to the front and he opens the door gesturing out
"Ladies first" I feel my cheeks get warm and I glide out the door followed by him
