7. Defeated Soul

'' ham sab aapke saath hai , didi ''said Aarohi hugging Shri 

Finally a there was a smile of satisfaction on Shri's face , satisfaction that her culprit will be punished,  the satisfaction that her family us with her.

''Chalo bohot ho gyi baatein,  Shri chalo khana khane , bohot dino se tumne khana bhi nhi khaya  '' Said Bondita turning around to go . Anirudh once again patted her head and followed Bondita , when they were about to moveoutdode the room,  they heard Aarohi screaming '' SHRI DIDI''

Aarohi's pov

When Maa Baba was about to go, I noticed Shri Didi losing her senses and rolling her eyes , with a thud she collapsed on the floor,  I ran to her .
And kept her head on my lap , I patted her cheeks but she was not coming back to senses.

''Kya hua Shri ko '' Maa said panicking.

''Ghabrane ki koi baat nhi hai , pregnancy mei aesa hota hai maa '' I assured her .'

'' mei doctor ko bulata hoo ''

Shri 's Pov

When I regained my conscious,  I saw everyone standing beside my bed .

'' Ghabrane ki koi baat nhi hai , Shri or uska bacha bilkul thik hai , haa par thodi kamzori hai , mei kuch dawaiya likh degi hoo , aap medical store se le aaiyega'' the doctor said .

After the doctor left , Maa came and hugged me , she was crying profusely.  I know she was guilty for her behavior , I couldn't held back my tears and started sobbing.

'' mujhe maaf karde shri , mene tujhe galat samajha,  maaf  karde mujhe ''Maa said cupping my face 

'' nhi maa , isme aapki koi galti nhi hai , aap please , maafi mat mangiye ''

She hugged me once again and kissed my forehead .

''Shri hame police station bhi toh jaan hai , tum jaldi se taiyaar ho jao '' said Anirudh .

Shri nodded in a yes .After all the family members  .departed she went to the bathroom to get ready and went down stairs where all were waiting for her .

''Chale '' asked Aarohi to which she nodded .

''Maa baba kya mei bhi chal sakta hoo aapke sath '' asked Raghav .

'' haa kyu nhi '' aap chal sakte hai jamai babu ''

Bondita's pov

We along with Shri reached the police station,  before entering I asked Shri not to be afraid and tell the truth .

We entered the Police station ,

'' so u are Mr . Anirudh Roy Chaudhary,  am I right '' asked a inspector with  a long moustache.

'' yes and she is Shri '' Daid Pati Babu introducing Shri to the Inspector.

'' have a seat Ms. SHRI '' asked the inspector taking his seat 

Shri sat on the chair , and then the interrogation started .

'' toh Mr.Roy Chaudhary ne bataya ki aapka kisine rape kiya hai '' asked the inspector with an evil smirk.

We all looked at Shri. She was nervous and we could easily see that .

'' h..haa''

'' aapka wahan usi time jaana jab koi ghar par nhi tha , or phir mr.Vishnu ke chote bhai ka aapko molest karna , what a coincidence!  '' said the inspector clapping.

'' Inspector,  aap kehna kya chahte hai , aap yeh kese sawal puch rhe hai Shri se ''
Pati Babu shouted at him .

I held pati babu's hand to  calm him down .

'' dekhiye , Mr .Roy Chaudhary , hame apna kaam karne dijiye , toh bataiye Ms. Shri , phir kya hua ''

I could see Shri getting uncomfortable,  I patte her shoulders and asked her to answer without any fear.

'' usne .. usne mera hath pakda,  or phir.. b..bed par '' she stammered.

'' aapko uthake bed pe Phek diya, yhi kehna chahti hai aap '' asked the inspector Smirking

'' j..jii '' Shri closed her eyes and said in in one go .

'' acha ab yeh bataiye ,aap pith ke bal giri ya phir pet ke bal or haa kaha kaha hath lagaya usne aapko , puri detail se bataiye ''

I could sense something big coming ahead.

Shri couldn't bear to hear this question , she stood up with a jerk .

'' yeh kese sawal puch the hai app , aapki himmat kese hui '' Pari babu held inspector's collar and shaked him .

''Pati Babu chodiye,  jane dijiye ise '' I tried to calm down Pati babu but in vain .

Suddenly Shri pushed the chair aside and rushed outside the police station .

'' Shri didi '' Aarohi ran behind her .

''Pati Babu,  chodiye ise , isse baad mei nipat lenge pehle shri ko sambhalna zaruri hai '' finally Pati babu let him go .

POV ends

Anidita and Raghav moved out the station .

After they departed , A young man came from behind and amitkedat the inspector.
'' ye lo tumhari rakam '' said Ranveer .

'' dhanyavad,  par aesa karne se kya hoga '' asked the inspector curiously.

'' mere khilaf gawahi degi yeh , yeh sab hone ke baad kabhi muh nhi kholegi wo ''

Aarohi's pov

We all searched for shri didi but  couldn't find her.

'' maa hum ek kaam karte hai , alag alag jakar dhundte hai '' Raghav ji said to Maa .

'' haa yeh sahi rahega , mei prapti banau idhar jate hai tum udhar jao ''

Maa and baba went to the other direction and we both went to the opposite.

''Shri didi kaha gyi app '' I almost cried this time , Raghav Jii consoled me'' Aarohi kuch nhi hoga shri ko ''

Shri 's Pov

Now enough, I can't answer this  society's question. Now I should end my life , I am tired now, I am not at fault ,then also this society would never let me live happily nor my child.

I reached the end of the cliff , Closed my eyes  ,and then jumped  but I felt someone holding my hand tightly .
