After Evie made sure I was alright, we both headed towards the castle to find Liam and Ben. I knew my way around the castle, and the staff knew me, so we didn't have any problems getting to their office. We went to Liam's first, but his secretary told us that he was in Ben's. We then made it to Ben's office. As we made our way over to Debra, Ben's secretary, I heard his voice through the intercom. "Debra? Can you ask Lumiere to call me regarding Cotillion?" "Yes, sir." "Thank you." I smiled at Debra as we made our way to her desk. "Hi, Debra." "Hi, Miranda. I didn't think you and Ben had scheduled any plans today." "Oh, we didn't. Evie and I actually have an emergency concerning Liam and his secretary said that he was here." "Oh, of course. You can go right in." "Thank you." I smiled at her before grabbing Evie's free hand and dragging her to the door.

I knock on the door before opening it. "Ben? Liam?" Both boys turn towards us before Ben smiles and stands up. "Hey, I wasn't expecting to see you until tonight." I smiled before lightly kissing him. "I know, but we have an emergency." Ben glances at Liam before looking back at me. "What's up?" I look towards Evie and nod. Evie breathes in before turning towards Liam. "Mal's gone back to the Isle." His smile disappears, looking absolutely devastated. Ben glances at me and I nod to confirm it. He pulls me to his side before kissing my temple. Ben then realized something before looking at me. "She must have left after you talked to her. What happened?" I looked down. "I met her in our room to see her packing up and finishing the note for Liam. I was so confused and hurt that she was leaving without saying goodbye or talking to me. We had a fight. She kept saying how I was perfect and could fit in so easily and how hard it was for her. I yelled back and said that I at least talked to you and didn't go behind your back, using spells to fit in." I sigh. "She knew she wasn't going to get past me, so before I could process it, she grabbed her spell book and used a spell to knock me out. Evie found me passed out on our floor." Ben rushes to me, checking over my head to make sure I'm not hurt. "I'm fine." "I can't believe she did that." Ben pulls me in for a hug and I lay my head on his shoulder.

Evie walks over to Liam and gives him the note Mal had written before she knocked me out. "Liam?" He looks up from the note and Evie hands him his ring that he gave to Mal. He slowly takes it before opening the note. "I am so sorry..." He mutters. He sits down in his seat. "This is my fault. This is my fault. I blew it. She'd been under so much pressure lately and instead of being understanding, I just went all beast on her." I get out of Ben's arms and walk towards Liam as I put my hand on his shoulder. All of a sudden, he stands up. "I have to go there and apologize. I have to go there and beg her to come back." Evie steps forward. "Liam, you'll never find her." I step next to her. "You need to know the Isle and how it works, and..." Liam walks towards Ben's window and looks out of it. Evie looks down before looking back up. "You have to take me with you." "Yes. Uh... Are you sure?" "Yeah. She's my best friend." "Then, I am coming with you." "Me too." I turn towards Ben. "No, you're not." Ben puts his hands on my arms and rubs them. "I have to do this. I am not letting you go back there without me." I sigh, knowing it won't change his mind and I hug him. Evie nods. "Ok, and we'll bring the boys, too, because there is safety in numbers and none of us are really too popular over there right now." "Thank you." I can tell Evie is nervous, but before I can get to her, she turns towards Liam. "Let's get two things straight. You have to promise me that we won't get stuck there again." "I promise." Liam looks towards both me and Evie. "And there's no way you two are going, looking like that." I let out a giggle. I smile towards Ben before  Evie and I leave to tell the boys and fill them in on the plan.
