Coronation Day. It's finally here. Evie forces Mal and I up early to get our looks and dresses perfect, due to the event being televised, and everyone in Auradon is going to have their eyes on us. Ben and Liam meet outside the school, waiting for us to come out, so they can escort us to the carriage and be on our way to the castle. The two boys were silently talking until they heard the doors open. They both look up and trail off the conversation, absolutely in awe of us. We shared a look as we walked towards the guys, glowing with happiness. "You look beautiful." "Absolutely no words." Both Ben and Liam say at the same time when we reached them. We smiled and slightly blushed at them. We say thank you and admire the suits that they are wearing. "And you guys don't look too bad yourselves." We respond at the same time, slightly giggling. The boys offer their arms to us and led us over to the two carriages. Ben and I get in the first one while Liam and Mal are placed in the second one. And we are off.
The carriage is now in eyesight of the castle and everyone starts to cheer for us as they see us coming. Queen Belle and King Adam are standing at the stairs, waiting for us. Snow White is reporting at the event. "At last, here we are, broadcasting live from the coronation, where Prince Benjamin and Prince Liam will soon be crowned kings. I'm Snow White, bringing you up to the second coverage of who's the fairest of them all!" Our parents sit around the tv, watching her report. " 'I'm Snow White.' Who are you kidding? She's definitely got work done." Mom just looks at her with a serious look.
The camera switches to inside the castle. Everyone stands around, greeting people as Fairy Godmother's wand sits in the glass case that's in the middle of the room. Fairy Godmother steps up to the podium. "Oh. Fairy Godmother is looking radiant. But what is happening with Jane's hair? And there is Fairy Godmother's wand!" Mom stands up from her seat, getting closer to the tv. "I want that wand!" The other parents roll their eyes. "Do you? Haven't heard." Cruella remarks. Mom glares at her and backs down.
"Oh, and here comes Ben and Liam now!" Mal and I slightly wave as Ben and Liam are enthused and give bigger waves into the crowd. Ben looks towards me to see me looking down at a blue box in my hand. Ben grabs my hand and I look up. He smiles at me. "Don't be nervous. All you have to do is sit there and look beautiful. No problem there." My heart melts at that and I smile at him. "Thank you." Ben looks down and I can tell that he wants to say something. "Mimi, would you wear my ring ?" I took my hand away. "Um... Not now." I chuckle. "I think it would probably just fall off me." It gets kinda awkward, due to me turning it down. I try to break the tension. "I have something for you." "For me?" "Ya. It's just for later, you know, when you need strength." I give him the box. "Always thinking." I laugh. He opens it. "But I can't wait." I was distracted with waving at people and didn't realize what he was saying until it was too late. "No!" "Mmmm. This is really good." "Uh... Do you..." "Mimi?" "Do you feel okay?" "You bet." He nods. I was still nervous. "Would you say that you're still in... That... That you have very strong feelings for me?" "I'm not sure. I mean, let's give the anti-love potion a few minutes to take effect." "Yeah." I nod and sit back. It finally sinks in and I looked at him with wide eyes. "What?" He chuckles and starts laughing. "You knew?" "That you spelled me. Yeah, yeah I knew." He smiles, slightly laughing. I smiled at him. "I can explain myself." "No, look, it's fine. I mean, you had a crush on me. I was with Audrey. You didn't trust that it could happen on its own. Am I right?" "Yes." I nodded at him while exhaling. "You're so right." I look down and then looked back up, not really wanting to know the answer. "So, then, how long have you known?" "Since our first date. Your spell washed away in the enchanted lake. I brought some of it home and gave some to Liam. It washed his spell away, too." That was so long ago and then, I realized it. "So, then what? You've just been faking it since then." Ben looks down, takes off his ring, grabs my hand, and puts it on my finger. He kisses my hand and looks back up at me. "I haven't been faking anything." I just looked at him in shock and amazement while I slightly smiled at him as well.
