4: Hide and Seek

Soundwave was on monitor duty as usual, Laserbeak was out for a fly around the ship spying on other bots as they went about on their day. "Soundwave, have you seen the key to the storage room? It's locked," Shockwave asked as he approached the silent bot who extended a tentacle towards a table, he grabbed a key and handed it Shockwave, "Um... Thank you?" The cyclops said, "Yeah, no problem," Soundwave replied, still keeping his visor on the screen.

Shockwave sighed and exited the room, he had been having odd feelings for Soundwave for a while now. Yet he hasn't found any confidence in telling anyone.

He opened the storage room using the key only to find Starscream quivering on the floor, "What are you doing here?" Shockwave asked the seeker, "H-Hiding... Please don't tell anyone where I am," Starscream begged, he was shaking like a leaf and Shockwave just nodded before picking up where he left off.

Shockwave grabbed a few boxes of spare metal parts, and a few other things before leaving.

He wasn't sure why Starscream was in there, but it was probably something related to Megatron.

Meanwhile on the other side of the ship, Knock Out, Breakdown and Megatron were looking for the seeker who has disappeared, "Ugh! Why did I leave him alone?!" Knock Out scolded himself as he looked around the medbay, trying to find any trace Starscream might have left. "I'll look around the ship Knocks, maybe the vehicons saw him," Breakdown said as he left the two bots, "I will search the area outside. Stay here in case he comes back," Megatron also left and Knock Out was all alone.

"Great..." Knock Out muttered with a sigh, but then he remembered that Soundwave was monitoring everything, maybe he knew where Starscream went off to.

The medic quickly ran to look for Soundwave, he eventually found the con on monitor duty and suddenly felt hesitant to ask, "Do you need something Knock Out?" Soundwave suddenly broke the silence, not even facing the medic.

Knock Out stuttered over his words a bit but managed to find the right ones, "H-Have you seen Starscream?" he asked, "4th storage room in the left wing. Shockwave ran into him actually," Soundwave replied and the medic thanked him before running off to the storage room. Soundwave had actually commed Starscream when he was speaking with Knock Out, that way he could find a better hiding place, which was now Megatron's throne room.

What a horrid place to hide in.

But he found a tiny vent just the right size to hide in so he'll just stay in there for the rest of the day, or until Megatron finds him.

3 hours later

"Ugh! Where is he?!" Everyone on the entire ship had been looking for the seeker for the past 3 hours, Soundwave was still on monitor duty for he made the excuse that he did not know where Starscream was, but he actually did, "Face it Lord Megatron! He ran away," Knock Out huffed as he gave the warlord a scowl, Megatron just looked at the medic hoping that wasn't true.

Everyone in the throne room started arguing with each other, Shockwave called Knock Out illogical to which Breakdown got defensive and started challenging him to a fight, Arachnid insulting the seeker causing vehicons to get mad at her.

Dreadwing silently sitting in the corner, and Megatron contemplating his life choices.

Soundwave suddenly stepped into the throne room to see everyone's chaotic state, "Uh... Sup?" He greeted, "We've looked for him everywhere! He's gone!" Knock Out shouted, "Yeah, about that..." Soundwave proceeded to walk over to the vent attached to the wall, he used one of his tentacles to reach for the cover and carefully pull it off, Starscream was inside, fast asleep. Megatron let out a sigh of relief when he saw the seeker, everyone else felt like fainting, the warlord walked over to the vent and gently took Starscream's sleeping form out of it before ordering everyone to get back to work.

"You love him, admit it," Soundwave said making a smiley face pop up on his visor.

Megatron only gave him an irritated growl before walking out of the throne room, the took Starscream back to his room (Starscream's room). The silver gladiator sighed as he opened the door, pushing himself in the room with the seeker in his arms, Starscream's berth was in the corner while his desk and shelves were in the other corner. Megatron walked over to the berth and carefully placed the seeker down, he was about to walk away but then Starscream grabbed his hand, eyes half open as he looked at the warlord.

"Megatronus..." Starscream mumbled, he must still think that he was in a dream or something, "Yes, Starscream?"

The seeker gave a gentle smile, "Can you... Stay?" He asked, Megatron didn't want Starscream to fully wake up for that would only cause a ruckus so he nodded and got on the berth with Starscream.

"Is this okay?" Megatron asked, "Thank you, Megatronus..." Starscream sighed, nuzzling into the warlord's chassis as he closed his eyes again, Megatron felt his face plates heat up to the highest temperatures, the last time they slept together was a few million years ago back when Cybertron was still alive and well. Of course they didn't sleep together, as in interface, they only shared a berth. That's it.

Pervert.

Megatron looked down at the seeker before bringing his arms around the other's waist, Starscream felt so delicate and small.

He sighed, "Frag it all..." He brought the seeker's frame closer to his, making sure that Starscream felt the warmth of his body heat, causing the seeker to hum in satisfaction, "I love you, Megatronus," Starscream said softly. He must be talking nonsense from being half asleep right?! "You... Do?"

"Indeed... I love you..."

"Hmm, go back to sleep little scraplet. I love you too," Megatron mumbled the last part under his breath, he and Starscream use to say 'I love you' to each other before going to bed, Orion found out one day and kept teasing then about it, but they didn't stop.
