~Worth It~ (Megatron x Starscream)

7: Shockwave's crush

[A/N: Literally just found out that Arachnid's name is spelled Airachnid. Bro I feel so dumb right now]

Airachnid was in her room admiring a photo of Megatron, well, half of the photo was ripped off and the other half had Starscream on it actually. She hated that seeker down to the smallest atoms, she couldn't stand him and the fact that Megatron's missing him makes everything worse for her.

Since she wants to be queen of the Decepticons, "Airachnid, it's me..." Megatron rumbled as he knocked on her door, she hid the photo away and opened the door.

"Yes sweetspark?" She asked, opening the door and looking up at the tall warlord who frowned at her, that wasn't a very good sign.

Megatron hesitated to speak and the spider grew concerned, "Airachnid I... I-I don't think we should be in a relationship anymore. It's distracting me from everything I've worked for," Megatron said, Airachnid didn't like that and her concern suddenly turned into rage, "Why? Am I not good enough to please someone like you?!" She shouted, "I've been drifting off course, the Decepticons need me and I can't waste time on something that isn't worth my time," Megatron growled.

"I-I am not worth your time?!" Airachnid exclaimed, she was absolutely sparkbroken right now, "As a matter of fact. You have been nothing but a liability," Megatron replied.

"Well, I can't possibly be worse than Starscream!" She said, "He may be a failure at most times, but... He has admirable skill, in mind and in strength," Megatron stated before finally walking away from the spider.

Airachnid hissed under her breath, she couldn't believe this, Megatron was actually breaking up with her because she was a liability!

"And then you put the icing on top!" Knock Out said as he handed Shockwave a piping bag filled with blue icing, they were both in the kitchen making energon cookies for Soundwave. Shockwave carefully put the icing on the cookie before taking the other piping bag filled with red icing, he then drew a little heart on the cookie and filled it in, "Aw, that's adorable," Knock Out giggled, he reached under the counter to grab a tiny box where they could put the cookies in.

"Do you think Soundwave will like them?" Shockwave asked, "If it's a gift from the spark, he'll love it," the medic replied with a smile.

They finished decorating the cookies and Shockwave put all of them in the box before tying it up in red ribbon, "Should I... Give it to him?" Shockwave asked.

Knock Out nodded and the cyclops headed out to find Soundwave who would probably be in the control room like always, "Be logical Shockwave..." He whispered to himself while approaching the doors to the control room, they slid open to reveal the empty room, Soundwave wasn't there. "That's odd, he'd usually be here..." Shockwave mumbled suddenly feeling a tap on his shoulder, he turned around and saw one of the vehicons standing behind him, "Sir Soundwave was feeling unwell today, he's in his berthroom," the vehicon said and Shockwave nodded, thanking them before walking off.

Shockwave started thinking about how Soundwave would react if he were to confess his feelings. Either good or bad, he could accept the outcome.

"Soundwave, i-it's me, Shockwave. I've brought you something," he knocked on the door feeling as nervous as ever, but then a sudden crash came from inside the room causing Shockwave to jump back in surprise.

Soundwave opened the doors, he was shaking a little bit and a nervous emoticon was on his visor, "Yes?" The communications officer asked tilting his visor innocently as if the cyclops didn't just hear a loud crash from inside if his room, "Are you alright?" Shockwave asked, "Oh, y-yes I'm fine! Would you like to come in?" Soundwave gestured for him to come in and Shockwave hesitated a little but this could be a one in a life time opportunity. No one has ever been in Soundwave's room, nor have they seen what's inside. "Welcome to my humble abode," Soundwave chuckled a bit as Shockwave looked around the room.

The taller bot examined everything, there was a desk with a huge screen in front of it along with some old Cybertronian CDs and a shelf of data pads containing random information.

Soundwave also had a little kitchen of some sort, only containing a small pot and a few boxes of... Tea?

"You have a logical room Soundwave..." He said, not really knowing he said it, "T-Thanks. So um... What's up?" Soundwave asked, if only Shockwave could see how flustered he looked under that a, "Oh, I've brought you some energon cookies. I heard you like them," Shockwave replied, handing the box to Soundwave who let out a happy little emoticon pop up on his visor as he took the box.

He opened it up and took out a cookie, "Knock Out helped me make them, I hope they taste good," Soundwave's visor suddenly let out a hiss sound as the bottom part detached from his chin.

The silent bot slid the cookie under his visor and hummed at the sweet taste, "I love them, thank you Shockwave. I appreciate it," Shockwave couldn't help but feel the odd flutter in his stomach when Soundwave said that.

"You're welcome, Soundwave," Shockwave replied, the smaller bot walked over to his desk and opened up one of the drawers.

He took out a box, Shockwave was rather confused until the other handed it over to him.

"Come by anytime you wanna talk... I'm glad you came by today," Soundwave said, the cyclops opened up the box and there was a little key chain inside of him and Soundwave, "I made it myself. Do you like it?" Soundwave asked and the taller bot nodded, bringing the key chain up and holding it close to his chassis, "I love it with all of my spark," Shockwave replied.

Soundwave was swooning, but he didn't show it. If only he had the actual courage to tell Shockwave how he actually felt.

The cyclops eventually left the room and went to tell Knock Out what happened but the medic could already tell from how fast he came running into the medbay, "It went well didn't it?" Knock Out asked.

"Logical... I am the happiest Decepticon to ever exist."
