6: Love problems

"Lord Megatron, I've found an energon vein. It's small, but it should hold out for a while," Breakdown suddenly said through the comm link, "Well done Breakdown, I will send the troops there immediately," Megatron replied, Starscream had been gone for a few days already and things weren't going well, vehicons didn't seem very enthusiastic about working and their excuse was because their commander wasn't there.

Arachnid has tried to convince them but she just ended up getting thrown off the ship, "I miss commander Starscream. Don't you?" A vehicon asked Soundwave, "Eh... Yeah. Things wouldn't be so sad if someone hadn't treated him badly."

Soundwave's bitter tone echoed through the room and Megatron heard him loud and clear, causing the warlord to feel even more guilty with himself.

He couldn't believe that Soundwave actually had the courage to say that with Arachnid sitting above them on the ceiling.

But then again, Soundwave is the savage type.

"Get back to work you useless cons!" Arachnid shouted from the ceiling, barring her teeth at them, "Wanna throw her off the ship again?" Soundwave asked, "Sure," the vehicon replied and the silent bot quickly yanked Arachnid off from the ceiling and threw her out an open window before closing it with his tentacles. Megatron just shook his head and got back to arranging data pads, having his girlfriend thrown out the window by someone who has the potential to wipe out a whole army by spilling their private secrets is bad enough.

Soundwave turned back to the monitors and continued his work while the vehicon just curled upunder the table to sulk about their missing air commander.

Meanwhile in the medbay, Shockwave was helping Knock Out with a new medicine to help injured crew members.

It was a jelly-like substance which was supposed to heal wounds faster.

"Knock Out, I have been meaning to ask you something," Shockwave said, stopping his work for w moment before looking over to the medic, "Alright, shoot," Knock Out replied, "Do you... Know what Soundwave likes?" Shockwave asked, shuffling uncomfortably in his seat. He didn't want Knock Out to make fun of him, "Well, hmm... Soundwave, that topic is rather complicated," Knock Out said and Shockwave lowered his head a bit in sadness, Knock Out immediately panicked. "B-But! I heard he likes energon cookies, maybe give him some of those."

The medic's suggestion wasn't that bad, however... "I-I don't know how to bake," Shockwave mumbled, Knock Out placed his hand on the other bot's shoulder, "I could teach you," he said.

"Really?" Shockwave perked up a bit.

Breakdown passed by and saw Knock Out talking with Shockwave, "Yeah, I'd love to!" The red medic gave the cyclops a happy smile, Breakdown immediately walked away from the scene. It was nothing right? Knock Out liked Starscream, it was nothing.

There's nothing going on between Knock Out and Shockwave, nothing. Knock Out likes Starscream, that's that, nothing else.

Breakdown let out a heavy sigh, he didn't know, it was probably nothing and he was just over reacting. But is Knock Out didn't have a thing for Shockwave, then he really does have a thing for Starscream, which means Breakdown is just going to get rejected one way or another. "Breakdown, sir, why are you crying?" A vehicon asked, causing the wrecker to gasp in shock, "L-Larry! You scared me..." Breakdown said clutching his chest.

"I'm sorry, but are you alright?" Larry asked, tilting his head a bit as he watched Breakdown's nervous body language, "No, I... I-I've kinda got a problem..."

Larry looked around the hallway before taking Breakdown's hand and leading him to the vehicons break room. He sat down with the blue wrecker and they talked.

"What's the matter?"

Breakdown hesitated, but then decided to answer instead, he needed to get it off his chest anyway, "I like Knock Out, a lot... But he likes someone else, and I don't know what to do," he said with a frown, Larry placed his finger on his chin and hummed in thought, "Have you told him?" The little vehicon asked, "No, I want to. But I don't want to face rejection," Breakdown replied.

"I see... Well, commander Starscream once told me just to be nice and myself. I still got rejected since they only saw me as a good friend, but in the end, it didn't hurt as I expected." Larry replied.

Breakdown hummed with a smile, "You little vehicons sure do love that guy, what's with him anyway?" He asked.

A bright blue blush immediately covered Larry's face plates, "C-C'mon... You gotta admit, he's pretty h-hot," Larry said and Breakdown gave him a smug look, "A-Along with S-Sir Knock Out and Sir Soundwave~" Larry was swooning to the highest level, but then he jumped when the PA system beeped.

"Oh gosh Larry! Didn't know you felt that way, I appreciate it that you think I'm hot~" Soundwave said, Larry nearly fell over but Breakdown caught him just on time.

"A-Anything for you sir! Ehh..." Then the vehicon passed out.

Breakdown sighed and decided to bring him to the medbay until he wakes up. Once there, he saw Knock Out cleaning up his tools, "Oh, hello Breakdown!" Knock Out smiled when he saw his partner walk in with Larry slumped over his shoulder, "This guy fainted earlier, swooning over Soundwave apparently," Breakdown said as he placed Larry on a berth, watching Knock Out laugh as he headed over to his work table to put some tools away.

This was Breakdown's shot, he moved closer to the medic and wrapped his arms around the smaller bot's waist tugging him away from the table and close to his chassis.

"B-Breakdown? Are you okay?" Knock Out asked, a faint blush spreading across his cheeks as the wrecker nuzzled into his neck cables.

"I want your attention. I've been... Lonely," Breakdown said with a sigh, Knock Out giggled and reached up to touch Breakdown's cheek before caressing it with his thumb, "Alright, alright. I've actually missed you, since you were looking for energon veins for the past few days," the medic admitted, blushing even more when his partner breathed on his sensitive neck cables. Knock Out fought the urge to whimper, "You're the best Knock Out I could ever ask for. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Knock Out's spark fluttered. Breakdown's words were enough to make him feel so flustered.

But then the medic giggled, "You're my Breakdown, I don't know what I'd do without you either..."

Then Soundwave blasted it into full volume throughout the whole ship.

"Soundwave! I will murder you!"

"Try me Knock Out, but make sure your aft isn't sore when you do,"

"Shut up! We're not dating... R-Right?"

"Well, that's up for you to decide Knocky,"

"Oh~ can I be the favorite uncle?"
