- The Next Day -

*knock knock* your mom not on your door waking you up. "Honey! Get ready for school or you'll be late!" You wake up and get dressed for school.

"Thanks for waking me up mom"

"Oh it's no big deal, I'm going to give you some lunch money today"

"Okay thanks mom, see ya after school love you"

"Love you to, have a good day today" she said waving goodbye at the door"

You turn around and wave back. Once you finally arive at your new highschool you try to find the principals office. After you found it you knock on the door and ask to be let in.

"Hello? May I come in?"

"Come in!"

You open the door and see a nice woman probably in her late 20s.

"Hi, my name y/n, I'm the new transfer student"

"Oh! So your the new transfer student, give me a sec to get your schedule" "Here you go Miss y/n, my name is Mrs. Beverly and I'm your school principal."

"Thank you Mrs. Beverly" you say with a smile. She hand you your schedule and you leave her office.

You walk in the hallway with your head down staring at your paper. You accidentally bump into a boy.

You look up and say "Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to bump into yo-" you paused once you got a good look at the boys face.

"Grayson...is that you?" You say surprised. He looks at you in shock and says

"Y/n!?"

You immediately give him a big hug. "Omg! Grayson I can't believe it's you! We go to the same school now."

He hugs you back and says "Y/n what are you doing here!? I thought you were in New York?"

"My mom got a new job here! And we flew here a few days ago."

"Oh wow, I didn't even recognize you at first. You look so different"

"You look different to.. wow your tall"

He laughs and offers to show you around. You take the offer and walk around the whole school. You find out he's a Senior year and 17.(your a junior year and 16) You sit with him at lunch and meet all his friends.

- After School -

"Hey y/n? Can I walk you home? I wanna see your mom again."

"Yea sure Grayson"

You guys walk back to your house and your mom meet Grayson again.

"Welcome back y/n! Oh and who's this? Your mom asks with a slight smirk on her face

"Mom remember Grayson? This is him!"

"Hi y/n's mom" he says waving with a smile

"Oh my! Grayson that's you? You've gotten so big" she hugs him with joy "Do you happen to know your mother's number? I want to get back in touch with her."

"Yea sure, let me write it down"

"Thank you sweetie"

You and Grayson walk outside and sit on your pouch to catch up.

"Hey y/n can I get your number? So we can keep in touch with each other?"

"Yea sure! Here" You put your number in Grayson's phone and smile at him.

"Wow.. I still can't believe you guys moved back to California"

"Me neither! I was so excited to be back here"

After an hour or so of catching up Grayson goes back to his house and tells his mom that you and your mom are in California again and that he gave your mom her number
