Chapter 1

Ny'Rasia POV

Heaven, come on so we can buy some food,I said to my sister. heaven is my 7 year old sister. I love her to death. She is my life. Everything I do now, I do it for her. I have to be the mother in our family because my mother doesn't care about us. How she she expect us to lean on her when we need help, but she need help herself. Oh yeah, my name is Ny'Rasia Fenderson, but you can call me Rae. I'm 16 years old.

Anyway, as me and my sister walked to the store I saw a bunch of boys leaning on the hood of a red bugatti. Ny'Rasia, one of the boys yelled my name. I turned around to see my bestfriend Khalob. I love Khalob just like if he was my brother well.....he is my brother. He wave for me to come over I was hesitant at first, but walked over there with me and my sister hand and hand.

Yall this Ny'Rasia and her sister Heaven, Khalob said introducing me to his friends. Ny'Rasia this is LaDarion, Jaylen, and Kory. Hey yall, I said to them. Wassup, they said except for LaDarion. I just shrugged him off. So what yall doing today, Khalob asked me.
Oh nothing, we was headed to the store, I told him. You want to come over fo awhile, he asked me.

I don't know I got Heaven, I said to him. Come on you know Heaven my lil gangsta ain't that right, he asked Heaven. That's my niggaaa, she said in her lil sweet voice. Everbody laughed except LaDarion. I wonder what's wrong with that nigga. Nawww, I got to get her home.

We got to go to school tomorrow, I told him. See we go to the same school and tomorrow is me and Heaven's first day. We walked home before it got dark outside. We walked up the stairs and opened the door to my apartment. I saw our mama passed out on the floor with beer bottle in her hand. I just shook my head and took Heaven to my room. Rae, I'm hungry, she told me. Dang, I forgot. Ok, I said.

I went in the kitchen.
We had bread, peanut butter, and jelly. So, I just made her a peanut butter jelly sandwich. After she got finish eating, We took our bath and layed in the bed. As we layed in the bed, I song a song and watched her drift off to sleep. I slowly went to sleep knowing my angel is safe in my arms.
