Ny'Rasia POV

As I sat in the hospital, all I could do was ask god why me. This shouldn't be happening. I suppose to be at home in the bed with Heaven in my arms. I decided to call Khalob. After three rings, he answered:
Khalob: Hey wassup
Me: Heaven got shot I'm in the hospital now
Khaolob: Ok what hospital I'm on my way
Me: ight

*10 minutes later*

I saw Khalob rushing into the hospital screaming. Where she at, he yelled at the receptionist. Sir, we going to ask you to come down, she said. Mann fuck calm down where my sister, he said getting mad. I rushed over there to try and calm him down.

Khalob calm down, I said as I hugged him. Rae just tell me where she at just please tell me, Khalob said crying. This was first time he cried infront of me and knew he loved Heaven as much as I loved her. She in surgery, I said. I brought him over to the waiting room and sat him down. he was crying more than I did. I held his head in my shoulder as he cried.

* 1 hour later*

Family of Ms. Dubose, I heard the doctor say. I quickly shook Khalob and we both rushed up to the doctor. That's us, I said to him.
Ok it looks like the bullet in her chest. If it was 1 inch closer, she would have died. She is awake right now and you can go and see her if you want. I want to see her what room she in, I said.

She is in Room 216. I grabbed Khalob hand and rushed down the hall to the elevator. We reached her door. I slowly cracked her door and looked in to see her hooked up to a bunch of machines and wires. Heaven, I said softly. She slowly opened her eyes and smiled but winced at pain. Be careful, I said as I quickly rushed to the side of her bed. Hey Khalob, she said softly. Hey busy bee, he said smiling.

How you feeling, He said to her. My chest hurt what happen, she said. I quickly frowned. A bad person shot you, I said to her. Am I going to be okay, she said about cry. Yeah, I said wiping a few tears that escaped her eye. Are you going to get that bad person, she said. Hell yeah we is, Khalob said. We both chuckled at him. We heard a knock on the door and a nurse step in. Hey umm I hope I'm not interrupting anything, she said looking at her clipboard. Naww you good ma, Khalob said. Khalob this aint no time for flirting, I said laughing.

He just fanned me off. Well my name Shylah and I will be Heaven's nurse. I will make sure she recover very well and she is in good hands, she said smiling. Ok look I'm going to need your number so I can check up on Heaven just in case, He said smiling. I just laughed at how stupid he is. Ok, she said as she took out a piece a paper and wrote her number down. Well, Heaven has to rest you can come back tomorrow and see her.

Ok, I said. I kissed her on her head and was happy she is living. I made my way back home. I changed out of the bloody clothes,took a bath, and fell asleep.
