Y/n POV:
A few days had passed since we all gave the first level examination. Nothing to elaborate on about how it went. We all just got divided and were tested separately on several different aspects.
The thing is, it wasn't that hard as I thought it would be.
Today we will be getting the results, and only the souls who had passed the first level will be able to take part in the second level. Fortunately, everyone I knew did well.
"The results are up. Please go check them." A voice echoed through the hall where all the souls were waiting.
"Guys, let's go!" Nayeon exclaimed as she pulled me along with her and Tzuyu.
After hours of waiting, we all finally got our result sheet.
"YES, WE ALL PASSED!!" Tzuyu yelled as she jumped around in happiness.
Nayeon kept staring at her sheet with a confused look. "Guys did y'all know that only 30% of the souls passed." Nay finally opened her mouth.
"Are you for real?" I questioned in surprise.
"Yes. It's written in our result sheet. Apparently, the passing percentage is 60." She answered as she showed us the writing on her sheet.
"That's awful", I uttered.
"So, does that mean we all scored above 60 percent marks, and are in the top 30 percent? That's so impressive!" Tzuyu clapped in astonishment.
"Thankfully we all will be living in this hell together", Nayeon spoke with a tiny, but grateful smile on her face. Her words were followed by Tzu pulling us all into a group hug.
"Ew stop, you stink", Nayeon pushed Tzuyu away.
"It's not me, it's y/n", Tzuyu said with puppy eyes.
"WHAT!" I punched her across the face, followed by all of our chuckles.
"By the way, did anyone see Jungkook's result?" Nayeon uttered.
"I did and obviously he passed", I replied.
"Today's a good day for us", Nayeon added as we all collectively agreed.
"The second level will start from tomorrow. Everyone who remains here now are the souls who passed the first level. You all will be randomly divided into groups of five now and will be given the creatures list whom you will be going against. A word of advice from me to all the souls who inhabit this hall, study the strengths and weaknesses of the creatures you will be fighting.
We will be handing over your group number very shortly from now." A man standing at the entrance spoke.
He then lifts up his arms and swirled them across, creating a wind current around. From the wind current, slips of paper, as thin as dust, diverted from the current's core made way towards us souls. Everyone received a random slip with a number on it.
