It was deathly quiet. Feyre and the beast vanished without a trace. The only remainder was the splinted table and fallen knives which ensured that it truly happened.
"Don't worry Niravi, Feyre will reach Aunt Ripleigh's home safely," Elain said softly.
Niravi whipped her head around so fast that she was surprised she didn't get whiplash.
"What?" she said outrageously. She saw her father walking towards her and he laid his hand on her shoulder. "Worry not Niravi, Feyre will be much happier," he said, his eyes faraway.
Niravi brought her gaze to Nesta carefully, as if almost afraid of seeing what she will find in her eyes. Nesta looked back at her with a clear and slightly confused gaze. "Of course, Feyre will be fine" Niravi countered with a smile plastered to her face. "I am tired, I am going to bed."
Just as she passed Nesta a hand around her wrist stopped her; Nesta whispered so lowly that even she struggled to hear, "He did something to their minds." Niravi's shoulders sagged "I know" she replied and walked away.
She looked at the old roof as she lay on the bed. Niravi was thinking of meeting Akhil. She wanted- no needed someone to tell her answers, anyone who would point her in the right direction to cross the wall so that she could whisk away her sister from wherever she is stuck. Tears prickled her eyes as she soon drifted away to a night of dreamless sleep, listening to the voices of her family.

Before the sun was up, Niravi dressed and ate an apple as she strapped the dagger to her belt. She opened the wooden door, stepping outside to the cold, biting winter; when she heard a voice. "Where do you think you are going at this godly hour" Nesta demanded.
"I am going to meet a friend at the edge of town, he might have answers on how to get to Feyre," she replied. She did not mention his name, Nesta need not know the small details.
"you will get yourself killed within the second you cross the wall" Nesta snarled.
"I won't", Niravi replied.
"You are a fool then, Prythian is no place for humans."
"You think I don't know that? Every second counts to find Feyre."
"I am not letting you go anywhere near that wall.""Why the sudden concern" Niravi spat as whipped around, the rage built over years of neglect and Feyre's disappearance coming forth.
"Because I cannot lose you too." Niravi stilled at the response."Feyre is family, I will not break my promise," she replied.
Nesta just stared into the black eyes of her sister; no one knew what she was looking for, but after a long time she sharply nodded and walked upstairs.
Saying those words must have been very difficult for Nesta, Niravi thought; admitting the fact that she cared for Niravi made her feel warm inside- just a little. She resumed walking through the ankle-deep snow, towards Akhil's house fifteen- kilometres away.
Niravi pulled her cloak tighter to her body, the cold breeze, whipping across her face. It didn't take long before her nose, cheeks and ears turned red. Sall flakes of snow gathered on her long eyelashes as she brought her hand to shield her face from the sudden gust of wind. She felt something fall on her head, and when she looked up she realized what it was- snowflakes. She stretched her arm forward to catch a few, and was vigorously thrown back into a memory-
