Chapter 2

Narrators POV

"I think we should pretend that Phoenix got a howler from mum" Fred started
"That could work." George agreed.
"Okay let's do it." Fred concluded
"Now we just need to figure out what we want to say. " George stated
"Something embarrasing."
"How about...
Phoenix Weasley, you better not be pranking anymore, I am absolutely disgusted. The whole reason you are at Hogwarts is to learn. You should be setting a good example for Ginny. I don't care how many times Fred and George prank you, you should not retaliate. I will be speaking to your father and discuss what punishment you will recieve. " George made up
"You always were the branier twin." Fred complimented
"Thanks Freddie now let's get to work on that howler with some minor adjustments."
They worked until the night time and was ready by morning. Poor Phoenix didn't know the embarrasement she was going to recieve.

Normal POV

I was walking to breakfast with Hermione and Ginny like I do every morning and we walked down talking about the prank and how funny their faces were. When we got there, Fred and George usually talk to us but I guess they were still upset about the prank. The owls flew in perfect timing and mine flew in. it must be important because I rarely receive letters. At least it decreases the tension in the air. At first I thought it was a leter, but it turned out to be a howler. The only person that sends them is my mum. Why would I be getting a howler though? Unless Fred and George told our mum, but they're no snitches. They always get even. That must mean that this could be something to do with me missing the flying lessons. I slowly open it as I dread to think what could mum possibly say.

PHOENIX WEASLEY, HOW DARE YOU SKIP YOUR FLYING LESSONS. ARE YOU SCARED TO LEARN BECAUSE I CAN ALWAYS TELL RON, GINNY, FRED AND GEORGE TO HELP YOU DEAR. ALSO WHY HAVE YOU BEEN PRANKING YOUR BROTHER'S AGAIN. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY HUMILIATED. THE WHOLE REASON YOU ARE AT HOGWARTS IS TO LEARN. YOU SHOULD BE SETTING A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR GINNY!!! I DON'T CARE HOW MANY TIMES FRED AND GEORGE PRANK YOU, YOU SHOULD NOT RETALIATE. I WILL BE SPEAKING TO YOUR FATHER AND DISCUSS WHAT PUNISHMENTS IS SUITABLE FOR YOU!!! The howler tore itself up right in front of my face and I was so embarrassed. I saw Fred and George burst into fits of giggles and by the end, I know they were the ones that sent the howler. I guess this was payback. I honestly applaud them, but I still have one more trick up my sleeve. They wouldn't purposefully hurt me, so maybe if I pretend to believe it and feel hurt they'll say sorry and I would have won the prank war. As soon as the howler ripped up, I ran out of the room and made sobbing noises. I watched from outside the hallway to see Fred and George pull worrying glances at each other before making their way towards me. I pretend to be walking away. Time to act, I thought to myself.
Fred-Phoenix, wait
George- we're sorry okay
me-why are you sorry? You didn't send that howler. I just can't believe our mum would let that secret out. I've never told anyone about my fear of heights.
Fred-Phoe, listen. It wasn't mum who sent you that howler.
me-W...What
George-It was us
Fred-And we're sorry
George-We clearly went too far
Fred-Yeah you're our sister and we shouldn't have done that
George-Yeah
me-*Starts laughing*
Fred-You tricked us?
George-You can't do that Phoe
me-And yet I just did, someone clearly had to. You two were getting too big headed.
Fred-We even?
me-For now
We all hug as we go back to the dinner hall.

Fred and George's POV

We felt so bad for Phoenix. She ran out of the hall practically crying. Ron and Ginny sent us death glares as we glanced at each other guilty. We rushed after her trying to explain. We should have known better. For all the pranks we've ever done, Phoenix has never spilt any of our secrets, which we are relieved for. Thank merlin we caught up to her, however something wasn't right. We mumbled an apology only for her to be laughing. Of course this was a set up. Phoenix never gets mad about pranks; we should have known better. In a way it did bring us closer together and we're just glad that she doesn't hate us, not like she ever could.

It's now been a couple of months since the pranks and I haven't seen any of my friends for a while. It's probably because I've been spending so much time with Luna. We've gotten more closer recently (if that's even possible). We studied together, we ate together and spent our free time together, I was crushing so hard, but I knew the feelings were only one sided. I mean we have been best friends for years. I haven't told anyone that I'm bisexual yet. Not even my family know, but I do plan on telling Luna, soon at least. Speaking of, she's just stood outside the Griffindor common room.
me-Hey Luna
Luna-Hey Phoe, wanna study together and then go to the owlery?
me-Can we go to the owlery first, I wanna send Charlie a letter.
Luna-Sure let's go
In all honesty, there was no letter, it was just an excuse to hang out with Lunawithout work. Just time to focus on us and anything realy, that's not school work of course. Luckily for me, I had wrote Charlie a letter weeks ago but hadn't had the time to send it so at least there's nothing awkward there. I really would have hated the confrontation.

We were walking back towards the school to the library and I felt like I was about to explode. I needed to tell Luna. Not that I like her. I could never do that, but perhaps that I'm not straight. Okay here goes nothing.
me-Luna, I need to tell you something
Luna-Okay sure, what's up?
me- I...I have a confession to make and I'm scared to know your reaction.
Luna-You don't have to be afraid Phoe, I'm your best friend and will support you through anything
me-Okay you're the first person I would have told
Luna-Just say it
me- I'm bi
Luna-I knew it, oh I'm so proud of you *hugs*
me-*hugs back*
Luna-So do you have a crush on anyone?
me-Maybe
Luna-You don't have to tell me but can I give you some advice?
me-Of course
Luna-You should tell your family so they can support you
me-You're right, I just... I'm afraid of what their reaction would be
Luna-Don't be, you Weasley's are the nicest witches and wizards of all time and more imortantly you stick by your family

The truth is Luna was right, I guess the only thing holding me back was myself. There's nothing to worry about, right?
