Chapter 18: Living on their own

Noah POV

I woke up with my arm wrapped around Y/n's waist and her head against my chest she wasn't awake yet and since its a Sunday I decided to bring her breakfast in bed. I gave her a quick kiss on her head and slowly climbed out from under the sheets. She turned over and soft snores could be heard from her mouth. I sneaked downstairs and turned the oven on. I got the mushrooms, eggs, bacon, sausages and butter from the fridge and started cooking everything. Once everything was cooked and placed on the plates, all I had to wait for now was the toast and the kettle. Suddenly the toast popped up from the toaster and the kettle started whistling, I poured the hot boiling water into the two mugs and placed them both on the trays. I grabbed the toast from the toaster and buttered them both with some butter then added them to the plates. I slowly and carefully picked up Y/n's tray and walked up the stairs to her room with it. I placed the tray on her bedside table just until I had woke her up. 

I walked over to the bed and perched next to where Y/n was laying. "Y/n?" I said just above a whisper gently shaking her awake. "What's wrong?" She replied in a cute raspy voice not even opening her eyes. "Wake up." I said whispering still. She slowly opened her eyes and sat up slowly. I passed her her tray of food and kissed her cheek. "Aww what's this for?" she said looking up at me taking a bite of her toast. "I wanted to bring my stunning girlfriend some breakfast in bed." I replied winking. "Thank you, are you not having any." She asked taking another bite out of her toast. "Oh shit yes I am, I'll be back." I said running down the stairs and getting my food. Once I had come back up stairs Y/n was looking on Netflix for something for us to watch.

                                                                       A couple of hours later

Me and Y/n had finished our breakfast and were watching Fear street when her phone rang. She sat up and got her phone and answered the call, I paused the film and sat there quietly. "Hello?" She said. "Oh hi mum are you ok?" She waited there quietly while I'm guessing her mum spoke. "Oh yh ok where will I go though?" She said, that confused me. "Ok I'll talk to you later, love you too." And with that she hung up the phone. "Noah?" She said looking to me. "You don't have too but is there anyway you would be able to live at my house with me on our own for a couple of months. It's just that my grandad is really ill so my mum's gonna stay with him for a couple of months until he get's better." she said. "Of course but you know your welcome to come live with me at my house if you want too." "Thank you it's just I need to look after the house and I would just prefer to stay here if that's ok?" She said looking at my hands as she played with the rings on my fingers. "Of course that's ok I'll message my mum now and explain to her what's happening now." I said lifting her hand up and kissing it like she was a princess and I was a prince.

I messaged my mum and she replied soon after I sent her that message. "She said yes." I said giving Y/n a kiss on the cheek. "Yay." She smiled hugging me. I kissed her head and we carried on watching Fear street. After about 30 minutes Y/n turned her head looking up to me and asked me a question. "Noah?" I looked down at her and nodded signalling for her to carry on. "When are we gonna tell Finn and Millie, about us I mean." She asked now sitting up. "We should tell them tomorrow after school, we could all go to the park and we can tell them there." I said replying to her. "Okie." She said smiling. "Now come back here." I said pulling her back to my side by her waist. She giggled and we carried on watching the film cuddling soon falling asleep. I am the luckiest boy in the world I thought slowly closing my eyes.
