VIOLENCE WARNING
"For the love of god, please stop snapping me!" I groan, quickly swiping away the notification. He keeps snapping me. I silently curse while tapping on Snapchat to answer him. It's a picture of his hair with a question.
'What do you have for question 4 on the English homework?'
I roll my eyes then quickly take a picture of my ceiling, putting a reply.
'B. Do you just wanna come over so I can help you in-person?'
His name is Connor, and he's a dick. I'm only offering to help him because 1) he's my cousins friend and 2) because he goes to my school and he's kinda stupid.
He snaps back with an 'okay omw' and I leave him on opened. He doesn't deserve a reply.
I wonder how he knows my address then I remember that Alisha, my cousin, held a party in my basement at one point last year. My parents weren't happy at all.
My parents are Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson. Louis hyphenated his last name because he didn't want to completely change it.
I hear a knock at my door after half an hour of silence and I go downstairs to open the door.
There Connor stands, papers in one hand and his phone in the other. He lifts his gaze to meet mine and shifts his weight a little.
"Hi Trish." He says. I cringe on the inside a little.
"Hi Connor." I reply. He does an awkward rollback on his feet and speaks up again.
"So uh... I brought my homework." I sigh inwardly.
"I see that. Follow me, we're going up to my room. It's quieter there." I say. He nods and we make our way up to my room. I make sure to keep my door open in case I need to run.
He sits down on my bed and shifts around so he's comfortable. I wish he wouldn't sit on my newly washed bed sheets. He puts down the papers and I make my way to the other side of my bed.
"So, for the first few I got A, C, and F. You said the 4th was B?" He asks. I nod and mumble
"Yep, the 5th is G. It was a bit hard, so I didn't want to waste time." He gives a slight smile and writes down the answers I gave him.
After a while, we finish the homework and he decides to play video games on my TV in my room. I go on my phone and open a text message from one of my dads. It's from Harry.
'Hi sweetie! We're going to be home in a few. We brought takeout!'
I smile at the text while replying with an 'okay, love you' and put my phone down.
Connor was still playing his game, and I try to spark up a conversation. I want to be polite at least.
"What type of music do you like?" I ask. He looks back at me for a second, then back at his game.
"Anything, I'm not picky." He answers. I nod and stand up, heading towards the railing looking down on the front foyer. I hear Connor get up and follow me. Next thing I know he's standing beside me, following my gaze as to where I'm looking.
"What do you listen to?" He asks, trying to continue the conversation. I shrug and say
"I like bands, I guess. Nothing special." He looks at me and I immediately feel uncomfortable.
"What bands?" He questions. I wasn't sure how to answer, so I say
"Yungblud." Then we fall silent.
After a few minutes of silence, I speak up again.
"Do you like One Direction?" I ask. Connor pauses, then answers.
"I used to when they were still together. Made banger songs." I smile and nod.
"What about any of their solos? Like Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, any of those guys?" He shakes his head and goes
"Nah, Harry's too overrated and he wears dresses. That's way too... feminine for me."
Just as he finishes talking, my parents walk in. Connor turns to me, a surprised look on his face and goes
"Your- what?!" I laugh because he looks extremely pathetic.
"Trish! Answer me!" He practically begs me. I look at him with a dark expression and a half smirk.
"Your gonna pay for that one." I say with amusement even though I looked very pissed off. Which I was. He looked at me with terrified eyes as I pushed him off the railing, watching him as he fell down.
He landed with a loud thud. Louis walked into the foyer again with an apple in his hand and looked from an unconscious Connor to me.
"Did he piss you off?" My father asked. I nodded.
"Yes. He didn't like Dad, said he was too feminine and overrated." I say bluntly. The corners of his mouth twist into a smile.
"Your finally learning, my darling." He praises me. I smile slightly then make my way downstairs to drag Connor to the basement. This wasn't the first time I had done this. My family has a high rank in the mafia, so we've all done this for a while.
I finally make it downstairs and Connor's on the verge of waking up. I toss him into a dark room. I pull out my phone and dial a number.
''Hey.''
I sigh into the phone
"Hey, do you mind coming over for a bit? I have a new guy."
"Sure. Mind telling me what he did?"
"When you get here."
"Fine. See you in a few. Bye T"
"Bye"
I hang up and look into the small window and into the door Connor was in, smirking at his confused face.
