You sighed knowing what was about to happen. Just as predicted, you felt a shove from behind. You caught yourself just before your face hit the ground. Looking up, you see Nevaeh and her little goonies standing over you. When you feel eyes on you, you knew the whole school was watching, as well as another pair. You knew Micheal watched you throughout the day, hiding in the shadows. You stood up and brushed the dirt off of Brahms's cardigan, not wanting him to freak out later. Nevaeh laughs as you stumble trying to find your footing, her well-manicured claws cover her mouth. You glare at her. Naveah is a very beautiful girl. She had long, blonde, wavy hair that reached her bottom. Her eyes were shining emerald green with flakes of gold in them. Her small waist and full chest and bottom drove the boys at school wild, making it easy for her to command them to do her dirty work. It also didn't help her dad was the principal.

While she laughed, you simply began to walk away. The bell had rung so you didn't want to be late. When she stopped laughing, she realized you weren't there anymore. You had disappeared into the sea of students. This miffed her. She stomped a heeled foot and shrieked, "I WAS NOT DONE WITH YOU Y/L/N!!"

You heard her and rolled your eyes. After a short stop at your locker, you walked to your first period. You waved at Mr. Tanner, your science teacher. You knew you were his favorite. Not only did he tell you but you kinda already knew. You weren't as loud and talkative as the others and actually got your schoolwork done. You sat down in your seat, the desk in the farthest corner next to the windows. You glanced outside and saw Micheal standing in the bushes. You smiled softly and waved to him. you saw his hand barely move in a small wave. You turned back to the class to see your best friend walk in, Lachlan. He was a tall boy with slightly curly red hair that falls to his shoulders and blue eyes. A few girls swooned over him but he couldn't be bothered. He walked over and sat in his seat next to you. "So, I heard Miss Drama scream your name in the courtyard. What'd you do this time?"

You shrugged and gave a sly smile. "Oh ya know, just straight walked away. She shoved me to the ground and got too caught up in the sound of her own laughter to notice me get and walk away." Lachlan's hair bounced around as he threw his head back and laughed. His baby blues sparkled with amusement and mischief. You chuckled to yourself and shook your head. By this time class had filled with students. Mr. Tanner Stood up from his desk to quiet the class. Once students were quiet, he picked up a stack of papers and began setting them on everyone's desk, face down. When he got to you and Lachlan, he smiled at the two of you. "Great job," he whispered to the two of you before tossing you a playful wink and continuing to pass out papers. You and the redhead turned over the paper to see Mr. Tanner had passed out the pop quiz from last week. You smiled to yourself seeing the 100% on the top of your paper. You were excited to show Hannable that you did well on it.

As the school day went on, it was relatively decent for a Monday. Neveah had tried to bother you and flirt with Lachlan at lunch but was pulled away by the assistant principal. She had gotten in trouble for the scene she caused that morning and was put in detention for the of that day and the next. When school finally let out, Lachlan followed you to the small store in your town. You had told him you needed a few things and he offered to help.
