JENNIE

As I walk down the streets, the chilly wind hits my body.

Despite the fact that winter is approaching, I'm wearing a skirt with no leggings or sleeves. All for a business meeting.

My dumbself even left my coat in my office.

I don't have any money with me because it was left in my coat pocket. And my phone's battery is nearly dead.

I had no choice but walk home, which was quite a distance.

A 30 minutes walk.

*ACHOO*

I sneezed since it's so cold at night.

As I passed by, a few people here in the area began staring at me.

I mean, I can't blame them for staring at me like a Psycho.

In such cold weather, who the hell wears mini skirt?

"Ugh! This is so embarrassing." I muttered beneath my breath.

Despite the fact that I was wearing high heels, I increased my pace.

Trying to avoid their stares.

I wanted to call Lisa, but she's on a business trip right now and is really busy.

*ACHOO*

I kept sneezing and rubbing my hands together in an attempt to warm up, but it wasn't enough.

My hands were icy cold, and my feet were blistering.

I finally arrived home after a few minutes of walking.

"That was so tiring!" I exclaimed.

I slid down onto the couch and snuggled up for warmth.

Despite turning on the heating, I could barely move and was shivering from the cold.

I became hungry all of the sudden, but focused more with getting warm...

It wasn't getting better.

I stayed on the couch because I didn't have the strength to move to the bedroom.

After a few minutes, I began to feel better as my temperature stabilize a bit.

I tried to get up and go to the kitchen to grab something to eat.

Because of the cold, my head feels a little heavy.

I decided to make an egg fried rice after looking through the ingredients in the fridge.

I prepped the ingredients and cooked, grateful that I was feeling much better than earlier.

I went to charge my phone while the food was cooling down before returning to dig in my meal.

But I didn't take long to finish my meal.

When I went to fetch my phone, I suddenly remembered something.

Lisa said she'd be back soon, so I tried to stand up, but my head became heavy again, and I started to feel cold.

'It's probably just a cold' I thought.

I just shrugged it off and went on to check the date for Lisa's return.

I miss her.

"She went out at 23 and should be back h-home by..."

My vision became blurry as I felt the pain in my head and shivered from the cold.

"Ah, I should take some medicine first."
