           Yeh Shuzen (Shuhua's mother)

Twenty-five years ago

[Taipei City, Taiwan]

Taipei the capital of Taiwan. Busy streets and contemporary buildings. "Are you coming with us or not?" Shuzen whipped her head towards the door quickly fixing her hair but still making sure that she looks good.

"Papa, Mama I'll be back later." Shuzen yelled as she close the door catching up with her cousins. Her smile was bright as the sun, her eyes sparkle under the beaming hot sun. Her lips moving upwards into a seemingly wide smile. (Which Shuhua exactly got.)

"Too excited to meet him again?" one of her cousin's asks earning a shy nod from Shuzen. "He's definitely gonna win this match knowing that you'll be there." Shuzen couldn't help but blush from their words.

"Papa likes him for you."

There were a lot of people wanting to watch also. Having the front row seats Shuzen was patiently waiting for the whole event to start.

"They are here." Shuzen heard her cousin exclaimed, her eyes started to wander around then her gaze fell on a certain pale skinned man with his hair brushed slick up.

Shuzen smiled waving her hand which the undeniably good looking man immediately noticed. "Good luck Chihun!" it took her a lot of courage to shout that.

Cheers and screams erupted as soon as the event started.

Lee Chihun an only son from a well off family. He's been staying in Taiwan for almost two years now and continued his career here instead of being in his own country South Korea.

They say that present is more important than past.

And that is what Chihun believes in, that is why he wanted to be 100% honest with the woman that he loves and plans to spend his life with.

Shuzen opened her arms welcoming the guy in a tight hug. "Congratulations! I'm so proud of you." Chihun couldn't help but smile as he buried his head on Shuzen's neck.

"So what do you say to a dinner with me?" Chihun pulled away but still having his hands around the girl securely. "That would be lovely." Shuzen have this certain smile on her face that Chihun have always love to see. "I'll be right back." Shuzen nodded completely letting go of her man.

She insisted to stay for awhile, her cousins already left a few minutes ago. She doesn't have to worry about her parents at all because just like her cousin said. Her father have taken a liking to the man she loves.

Chihun wasn't nervous at all in means of telling everything that Shuzen doesn't know yet but what he's nervous of was what would be Shuzen's reaction to it.

But he trusts the love that they have and having a positive mind as he pulls the chair out for Shuzen to sit.

Over the time, we have to learn to accept that some people aren't meant to stay in our life. No matter how much we want them to. No matter how much we convince ourselves that they're the only piece that could fit into the human shaped hole in our hearts.

Chihun gently placed his hand on top of Shuzen's hand. "I have to tell you something." Chihun softly said but no matter how soft Chihun's voice was, it didn't stop Shuzen's mind from overthinking. (which Shuhua also got)
