Chapter 29

Shuhua was like a kid skipping happily as she enters the house and was greeted by her father who was curious to why her daughter was acting like that.

"Something good happened?" Mr. Lee asks as Shuhua takes a seat beside him on the sofa.

Shuhua hummed in response as she peeks on what her father was reading. "You seem very happy." Mr. Lee commented with a smile. "I am." Shuhua exclaimed.

Soojin stares at the sunflowers that she just put in the vase. She doesn't have any idea to whom did this beautiful sunflowers come from. There last class was cancelled at the last minute.

So she's been lazing around her apartment. She and Soyeon already talked about the creative writing that they need to do.

Her heart almost jumped out of her chest when she heard a knock on her door. She was too lost in her thoughts to be aware of her surroundings. Taking her eyes off from the sight of the sunflowers. She stood up to open the door.

The least that she expected to see right now was a delivery man holding a paper bag.

"Pork Belly Delivery for Seo Soojin." Soojin stood by the door puzzled.

Nonetheless she ended up receiving it, she sat by her couch staring at it completely lost. She didn't order this and she's 100% sure of that. The delivery man also didn't say anything after she received it, he practically just walked away.

Soojin slumped her body on the couch trying to think of who would send these.

"This afternoon is very suspicious." Soojin mumbles to herself as she glance at the sunflowers.

Day 06

The dining area was filled with a such awkward silence as Mr. Lee shifted her gaze from Hui to Shuhua.

"How's your training yesterday?" Mr. Lee decided to break the silence, asking his elder son. "Tiring as usual." Hui answered with a chuckle didn't want his father to worry.

He glance at Shuhua who was sitting just right beside him. "I'm glad you're back safely." Hui sincerely said having that same soft gaze towards Shuhua. "Yeah, just had a not so good jet lag after." Shuhua let out a laugh.

Their breakfast was by far nothing but small talks before Mr. Lee excused himself for work.

Hui and Shuhua were left as they were awkwardly seated on the couch. Building up his courage he decided to speak first.

"I'm sorry for what I did, the physical damage and all." Hui couldn't look at Shuhua at this rate, he was still being consumed by regret. His irrational thoughts tampered his consciousness at that time.

"It's fine, I totally understood what you were feeling at that time. Well I would also go berserk if I found out that my girlfriend was being taken away by someone I know. I just want to clear my name that I'm not sneaking Soojin from you. I actually wanted to ask something." Shuhua utters and instead of Hui being nervous it was Shuhua who was nervous.

Hui took note of what Shuhua just said.

Shuhua parks her car in front of a familiar shop which she just visited yesterday. Fixing her long navy coat she got out of her car only to be welcomed by the pleasantly smell of flowers filling up her senses.
