*Mangle's POV*

"Alright everyone, great job today. You're all dismissed." I call out after our Tuesday afternoon practice. end of September and I still don't have a schedule for this. Need to get on that before Thanksgiving.

Everyone left the gym Chica and Roxanne being the last two out with me following behind. Once I got into the locker room I went to the back to change out of my uniform. Felt nice to be out of it after a long day and sweating for at least the second half.

What sounded like a shower running distracted me from my thoughts. One of the other girls was washing up.

Finishing up with dressing myself I stay in the room and wait. Don't wanna disturb whoever it was that's doing their thing. Makes me feel uncomfortable and rude to interrupt.

"Hey Chica, are you still out there?" I call and receive a knock on the wall which gives me nothing. "Somebody else there to confirm?" A reply of "I'm here, Chica's in here." came from a voice sounding like Roxanne.

"Tell me when you're done." I tell her, stretching while waiting. After a minute the sounds stopped, giving them another minute before walking back in the actual locker room.

Roxanne had her arm around Chica, smiling as the chicken got her head through the hole of her shirt. The wolf looks up at me from her position.

"Alright she's good. What'cha need coach?" she asked, speaking for Chica the best she could. They're a good duo, supporting each other the best way they can. Walking over I sit on the bench opposite them, not wanting Chica to be uncomfortable. She's still a bit jumpy.

"Would you two like to go out and do stuff? Just for fun." I asked. Roxanne had her teeth showing in seconds. Chica though tilted her head not knowing how to respond. "Come on Chica, it'll be fine." Her friend said, patting her back.

Thinking it over she nods. Roxy is a trusting one, she's lucky to have her. That's all I can say.

The three of us stand up before heading out of the changing room and toward the school entrance. Suggesting to tell her mother, Roxy grabbed Chica's phone and called them. All the explaining took until we were across the parking lot outside the school.

She allowed on the account that her daughter was with somebody she trusts the entire time. Of course, agreeing with the circumstances, the wolf gave the phone back to the chicken.

"Ready?" My voice was filled with excitement. Giggling, the wolf nods with Chica as they walk along. Grinning, we walked into the main town.

The chicken's eyes sparkle and scan her surroundings. Has she not seen the town yet? It's been about 3 weeks at the max since she came here to my knowledge. Feels like November already despite it being the beginning of October on Thursday.

"Where to first, girls?" I ask the duo and to the best of their ability they discuss it. "Alright, restaurant or arcade?" Roxanne asked. "Arcade first if those are the options." I tell them, my tail wagging slowly.

Sighing, the wolf ran her hand through her hair. "She always does this, Mangle's a worry wart." Can't lie there. Don't wanna mess with anything and having to pay for damages or something stupid.

"Gives me a chance to play that arcade game without my sister around." She admits with a bright smile.

Walking a little longer the arcade showed up. The small blue building is complete with green, red, and yellow lights across the front of it.

It stood in a sharp contrast to the rest of the street. While the buildings and shops and stuff were still colorful, the neon lights on the arcade made it feel slightly out of place. Chica looked at it in awe.
