*Chica's POV*
Ten minutes until we leave, ten minutes and the team will be on that bus heading to the game. I'm going with them and I'm severely nervous about it. Sure we've been preparing for forever for this but I can't say I'm not worried that I'll screw this up badly for everyone. They've been working so hard on this that I'd hate to ruin it.
My notebook was in my arms as I paced around in my cheerleader uniform. Why did I try this? This will give me a heart attack.
Deep breathing interrupted my thoughts as I attempt to calm down. Cindy was leaning on the wall watching me. She told me if I got too nervous she'd calm me down or I could back out.
Sitting down in a chair I felt Mangle's hand on my shoulder. It felt weird but the warm smile of the fox made it better. Maybe this will be like being less afraid of showing my face, I still don't like my hood down but I tolerate it.
"You'll be okay Chica, trust me." Mangle says to me with a smile. "5 minutes everybody." She adds. Cindy nods along with all the others and starts getting around to leave.
Getting a pencil I put my notebook on my desk and started drawing after writing "Got it." to notify Mangle that I understood as well.
Somehow it calmed me a bit, not much but it made a small dent in it. Cindy seemed to like it when she came around. A smile crept onto my face because of that.
Coming back around after another circle around the desks, Cindy patted my back. With that I stood up and grabbed my book. Bus would be ready for us to head out by this point as well so let's get going.
Mangle gestures for us to come with her.
"Come on, let's go. You can sit next to me if you need." Cindy says with her cute little cat smile. She went on ahead as I was stuck watching the cat tail wag. Everyone was excitedly rushing toward the bus while Cindy stayed at the same pace as me.
The fresh air outside made me feel relaxed, almost dropping my pom-poms. The cat was ready to catch them though. None of us wanted me to have an excuse for me not to join the team for this. Mangle told me she could find clean mop heads to use if they were lost. I don't wanna look forward to that, even if that was a joke
Grabbing my hand Cindy led me onto the school bus that would take us to our school's football game. While I don't care much about football at least it's something to do with the group. The door closes making us go to the end of the bus.
Pretty much bounding to the back seat of the bus she opened the window quickly. Speed like lightning she's got, reflexes are like that as well. Falling into her seat she looked at me and patted the spot beside her. Once sitting down the bus had started to move which admittedly startled me.
The movement on the road once again calmed me a bit, though not by much. Cindy noticed my uneasiness quickly and put her hand on my back.
"You still about this?" she asks, rubbing my back soothingly upon seeing me nod. "It's alright. I'll be right next to you when we do the routine." She says. My breathing slowed down considerably when she said that, maybe I won't be as noticed as the others.
Having a small idea I took my phone out of one of my backpack's side-pockets. Cindy looked over at me, knowing what I was doing. I wanna talk to Bonnie, he'll probably be able to make me feel a little better. Quickly I went and texted Bonnie, within a few short moments the rabbit answered back.
"What's going on?" Was the response that I got.
"Nervous about everything." Staring at my phone I found myself smiling. His paws work fast cause I already had a reply. "You'll be fine, don't worry, Cindy's there for you." Didn't sound that ensuring though, benefit of the doubt he might not know what he's doing.
