We moved off the dance floor, and sat at a table. Arun went to get us some drinks and I saw the waiters bring snacks and got happy but they didnt come my way so i pouted. Arun noticed that and sat a plate of snacks in front of me. I smiled as I ate the food.
After some time we snuck away from the crowd and he kissed my forehead, as he grabbed my hand and took me to the balcony of the building. The moon was shining as he admired me,"you look so beautiful",he smiled and spent some time clicking photos until he said he had a surprise.
He said wait here until you here an announcement. So i waited and then there was an announcement for me to get back into the building, to the crowd.
A spotlight almost blinding me, as it followed me walking into the room. There was an awful amount of silence until i heard Arun so i made me way to the centre of the floor.
Arun:
Good afternoon everyone…on behalf of my wife and I…thank you all so much for being here with us, and making to day today even more special…. and Divya, my beautiful wife and thee owner to Mathur Industries.
I being the luckiest man alive have seen you transform from a shy youth to an independant young and frikken gorgeous women, dammn and it is my great pleasure to be married to you.. I know we have had our ups and downs and dead end roads to the most dreadful situations. Of course, i would not be here today without you. Divya, I'm sure it was worth the wait. I will be standing next to you for the rest of my life. You are full of warmth, humor and initiative. I have never loved a women as fine as you. Divya, we first met as friends and i agree i wasnt that great of a friend nor a husband in the last, to be 3 years. But i promise you can punish me for the next 3 years, im kidding. So this dinner party was actually for an apology proposal. I never knew Arun felt this way.
He fitted the ring to my finger and shared a passionate kiss making everyone jealous.
We made our way back home. I sat at the vanity removing all the jewellery, i stared at the ring processing he put a ring on me, yes we are married but that was an arranged marriage at first but its the first time he proposed actually. Normally proposals are first then marriage and the pleasure, our case is different.
He got into the shower and came out with his towel around his neck, trying to dry his hair. I watched him, watch me through the mirror as he pretended he was drying his hair.
I opened up my blouse to go into the shower as he pulled the chair out from under the vanity as he moves it in front of me, as his eyes stayed on me.
"Want me to help?"he raises his brow eagerly.. i smirk seeing wait there patiently. His legs apart as his arms crossed his body.
