  " Happy birthday Habeeb", Ameedah said as she ushered him in.
She invited him over to her place, she also prepared his favourite meal to mark his special day. He's turning 24 today.
"Wow, this aroma", Habeeb said walking in.
" Uhmm",she simply replied.
"Please sit", she ordered.

           ****
He was finally done and ready to go. Ameedah fed him well, they popped champagne and spoke for few hours, it was late in the evening before he was finally set to leave.
" So Ameedah, after the food, the champagne and well as the gift, what else do you wish to give me", he winked and smiled naughtily.

"Nothing else", Ameedah said even if her eyes were saying the opposite.

Initially, Ameedah decided she was going to kiss him but as he appeared, she knew she wouldn't be able to do it again. How would she even do it, she didn't think about all that before deciding she was going to kiss him but Habeeb knew somehow that there was still something wrong.

" I was expecting a kiss you know",Habeeb stated.
"How did you know", she blurted out.
" Whaaat, hold on, you mean you initially planned to kiss me?", Habeeb asked, he couldn't be any happier.
"Nope, I didn't say that".
" Then what did you mean".
"Habeeb, its time to go", Ameedah said, she didn't want to continue the conversation.
" Listen Ameedah, the kiss was meant to come as a surprise but now I know, its still okay, you can still do it. I seriously wonder when you would stop being shy around me", Habeeb said.
"And who said I'm shy, for your information I'm not shy not even one bit", she replied.
" Alright then, prove it by kissing me now".
"Habeeb".
" Yes, Ameedah, can you do that or not".
"I'll do it but please close your eyes", Ameedah said pleadingly.

Habeeb almost laughed when she said that but he controlled himself since he knew it might get her upset and she wouldn't do it at the end and he couldn't risk not getting the kiss for anything.
He closed his eyes and soon Ameedah remembered the lesson she got from her two friends on how to kiss so she applied all, at the end it turned out to be Habeeb kissing her as she quickly pulled out of the kiss after a while, she needed cool breeze.

" What happened Ameedah",Habeeb asked speaking normally as if nothing happened.

"I need breeze", she said panting a little.

" You're indeed a learner, how many minutes was that kiss that you need air, anyways you've got me so I'll teach you all you need to know", he winked.

Ameedah smiled at him and he stole a quick kiss and soon exited the door.

  Seconds ran into minutes, minutes into hours, hours into days, days into weeks, weeks into months and finally months into years.
   Nihmah graduated leaving Ameedah and Eesha not long afterwards Ameedah and Habeeb also graduated and finally they were almost done with the youth service while Nihmah was done with hers and her wedding was on the way.

  Habeeb spent seven years and Ameedah spent five years at ages 26 and 23 respectively. Habeeb was posted to Lagos while Ameedah was at Kebbi state.
 
📱Hi Habeeb, so sorry I missed your call earlier.
📱Its okay, so when are you leaving Kebbi.
📱In two weeks time, hope no problems.
📱Its nothing, I've just missed you a lot, its almost a year since we last saw, thanks to video call that helped a bit.
📱Eeyah, I've missed you too sweetheart, just two weeks and we'll be together again, we'll talk later, I've to go now.


         ~ Two Weeks later.~

"Mum, Dad", Ameedah cooed as she walked in and saw both her parents seated on the couch.
She ran to hug them.
"You didn't inform us of your arrival ",her dad said happily, he wasn't at all expecting to see her this soon.
"Yeah, its a surprise", she said beaming and its so cool to be back here in Lagos.
"Hope you told Habeeb you were coming", her mum asked.
"Stylishly, but he doesn't know I'm back, he thinks I'll be in Lagos by tomorrow, so I surprised everyone, where is Abdullah by the way".
" Hey sis", his brother said and hugged her tightly.

"Habeeb, when will your wife be home", Sayidah asked him.
" I don't even understand a thing, she should have been home but I don't think she's, I've been calling her, it's not even going, I called her mum and dad, they didn't answer I even called her sister, she sounded calm on the phone telling me she'll be back soon",Habeeb said looking frustrated.

"And of course I'm back", Ameedah said as she walked into Habeeb's home.
Habeeb was totally astonished and Sayidah hugged her tightly as she walked in.
After, Habeeb hugged her as well soon Sayidah excused them to have their lovey-dovey conversation, Habeeb couldn't be any happier.

A week later, the Yusuf's family paid the Adeyemi's family a visit to pick a date for the wedding. They finally came to the conclusion that it should be in a month's time and the soon to be couple were overjoyed.

  Habeeb whispered something to his mum and she understood what he meant.

Sir and ma, Habeeb's mum continued, " we would love to get your permission to take Ameedah along with us to Osun state, Habeeb's cousin would be getting married in a week time and we would be leaving for Osun tomorrow and I'd really loved it if Ameedah came along so she would meet with some of the family members.
Ameedah didn't know about that earlier but her family agreed and of course she went with them to Osun state.

  They got to Osun State late in the evening, everyone loved her and they showed her to her room.
"Thank you so much", she said to the lady that brought her.
" Anything for you",the lady replied smiling at her then she turned to leave.
Ameedah walked into the room and was about closing the door when she saw Habeeb by the door.
"Yes, why are you here", she asked him.
" There are no rooms left ", he replied.
" so????", Ameedah didn't even realize when she said that.
"So... we are sharing a room", he said waiking in.
" What.. no Habeeb, we can't share a room",she said walking after him.
"So where do you expect me to sleep, with, my mum or with my dad", Habeeb answered.
" Sleep anywhere you want but certainly not here please",Ameedah responded.
"Ameedah, you've no choice, please don't let us argue over this", Habeeb said almost laughing.
" Whatever but this is my room and you've to follow my instructions here Habeeb", Ameedah said.
"Deal", he replied.
