Frick, I don't own anything but the plot. I forgot to say that last chapter so I'll say it again and call it even. I don't own anything but the plot.
I watched as the crew dragged the prisoners aboard. Next to me Rachel absentmindedly toyed with a lock of her hair. Leo and Thalia shouted catcalls at the Brits, the most the two of them had ever gotten along before.
Rachel chuckled. "Those two are making me nervous, any chance we can push them overboard".
I laughed and put my arm around her shoulders. "Yeah, I don't think Piper, Hazel, or Bianca would agree with that".
Rachel grunted. "We can keep Nico and pay Piper to forget about Leo" she suggested. "At least Nico's bearable".
I pouted. "Is he more bearable than me?".
She laughed and tilted her head back to look me in the eye. "Of course not, where did you get that idea?". I shrugged and she shook her head.
Bianca and Zöe came over with nervous expressions. "Sir, the smoke from the Zeus's Fist is liable to attract other pirates. Including Him" Bianca said nervously.
I leaned in close to them. "Do not mention him, the last thing we need is for the crew to get upset. We will head to Tortuga (AN: Pirates of the Caribbean) to restock and drop of the prisoners. Until they are of our ship you will not say his name, understood". Zöe and Bianca nodded and hurried off.
Rachel clicked her tongue. "And if he does show, then what?".
"If he does show up, which he will not, we will take him down. I mean, it's not like he has an army of followers waiting to take over". (AN: am I sensing a sequel?).
Rachel gave me a look and sighed. "What ever you say, Captain". With that she turned and walked down the stairs to the lower deck.
Leo popped up behind me. "Woman, am I right. Say, do you think the uptight blonde is taken?"
I rubbed my head. "Leo, not all the girls want you".
He grinned. "Who said I was talking about a girl?". I glared at him and he sighed. "Yeah I was talking about the girl. She probably has a boyfriend". He glanced at the prisoners again. "What about that one?".
I pinched him. "Leo, shut up". He gave me a two finger salute and made his way across the deck. I shook my head and placed my hands on the wheel. I glanced at the sun, which was directly over head. Only a few hours until the real danger came. Perhaps I should have listened to Bianca and Zöe, it would have spared us the pain of what happened next.
The sun was starting to touch the horizon when Nico ran up to me. "Percy, Bianca and Zöe were up in the crows nest and they saw a ship. His ship".
I turned to him. "Why were they in the crows nest? You know what, don't tell me. Sound the alarm, wake the others!". Nico nodded and ran off. I turned to look at the ship. "Well plaid, have you finally come to see how your old friend is doing?"
Was it just me or was that fun to write, I have no clue.
Who is this mysterious he? What does Percy feel for Rachel? Why were Zöe and Bianca in the crows nest?
Anyway what are your guy's thoughts on another pirate au but like a different scenario. It would have all the same characters but in different roles and a different plot. I would still work on this one but you would get to read another one.
