Violet was about to head out to school , she was excited for 8th grade and couldn't wait to go!
"Have you got everything?" her mother called out from the kitchen "Yes mother! I'm going to go out now love you!" she closed the door before her mother could reply
Awhile later (yes I'm doing it again because I'm a lazy shit)
Violet was passing an alleyway until she heard some light sobbing, she had stopped to look down the the ally. She couldn't see anything so she went in "Hello? Anyone here? " Violet shouted lightly, the alleyway was surprisingly large, she then noticed a boy with black fluffy hair curled up sobbing "Hey are you ok?-" she reached out to pat the boys shoulder until he suddenly whipped around and backed away "A-Are you gonna hurt me too? Did the shopkeeper send you out here to hurt me!? I'm-" Violet cut the boy off "Hurt you!? Don't be stupid anyway are you ok you were crying?"
The boy took his hand off his eye then held it out "My names Derrick" Violet shook his hand a but confused as to why he greeted her immediately "I'm Violet nice to meet you now could you plea-" she stopped as soon as she noticed the massive black eye "OH MY GOODNESS WHAT HAPPENED, ARE YOU OKAY!?" she crouched down to his level to examine his eye "I-Im fine , the shopkeeper just hit me " Derrick said whilst still sniffing a bit "why would the shopkeeper do that!?!" Violet exclaimed, Derrick looked a slight bit guilty "Well I didn't have anything to eat so I stole this nut bar.." he slipped it out of his pocket slowly, "Why would you do that! You shouldn't steal its bad , your parents would ground you for this! speaking of which where are they?" Violet lectured , Derrick giggled silently at how quickly she spoke while giving out but his smile slowly turned into a frown "I don't have parents..." Derrick said quietly
The mood suddenly changed and they were silent, Violet wanted to say something but she had no idea what
