Moon

Today is saturday, the day of the full moon. YoonGi sighed and put his calendar back in its place. He hopes today is not too troublesome. Suddenly, his roommate entered the room. He wore an apron with his spatula in his hand.

"Good morning, YoonGi! I just want to wake you up. Let's have breakfast together." SeokJin invited him.

YoonGi didn't reply, instead he pulled his blanket to go back to sleep. "I'll wake up in a second."

The older sighed before walking towards the smaller. "Baby, even though I can't bring myself to wake you up, you still need to get up and eat." SeokJin said while pulling YoonGi's blanket. YoonGi pouts while rubbing his eyes cutely.

The older drags the smaller to the kitchen. All the other members are already there. YoonGi and SeokJin take the empty place. YoonGi sat facing JungKook and SeokJin next to him. Suddenly, TaeHyung reports something to their oldest Hyung.

"Jin Hyung, Jungkook has a fever."

"No, I don't have a fever!"

"Don't pretend you're okay!" JiMin interrupted. JungKook frowned, crossing his arms.

"But I'm fine!" JungKook rebelled.

"Touch him." NamJoon said.

SeokJin raised his hand to JungKook's forehead. "Your body is hot! You must have a fever!" SeokJin is worried about the youngest's condition. Especially, today is the first performance of their latest song. Hearing that made JungKook shakes his head.

"No, I'm good!"

"Can we eat now?" YoonGi took the chopsticks and spoon. The other members looked at him.

"YoonGi, don't you care about Kook?"

"I care. But he himself said he's okay." YoonGi replied. JungKook smiled hearing that.

"But his body temperature is high!"

"Maybe it's his hybird not him."

All members were confused to hear YoonGi's words, including JungKook. Although he is also a hybrid but he is still young to understand such things. "How can it happen?" HoSeok asked representing his confused members. SeokJin started handing out food while listening to their conversation.

"Have you all forgotten today is a full moon? When the full moon occurs, the hybird's body will heat up and will not be able to control their shape. They will remain in their hybrid form until the end of the full moon." They start eating their food.

"So, will you and JungKook be horny and needy?" NamJoon asked. YoonGi noticed NamJoon and JiMin change their gaze. YoonGi rolled his eyes before looking at the other hybird. JungKook looked uncomfortable. The others were still staring at him, waiting for the answer.

"No. Today is the usual full moon day. As long as it's not a special full moon, we won't be horny and needy." YoonGi gave the answer they were waiting for. JungKook sighed in relief. JungKook doesn't seem to know all the things that happen in the hybrid world even though he's a hybird himself. YoonGi thinks he needs to talk to the youngest about this later.

"Special full moon? What do you mean?" JiMin asked, confused. Others also could not hide their confusion.

"Why don't you ask Mr IQ148 yourself?"

After that the kitchen went silent. They ate their breakfast quietly. The leader and their mochi still haven't finished exchanging glances. The oldest rapper just pretends not to see and doesn't know. Then, YoonGi gasps when he feels someone caressing his forehead then his cheeks.

"Why is your body temperature not high?" Hoseok asked. YoonGi can feel the dance leader's breath on his cheek. YoonGi felt his cheeks hot, blushing red. "Kitten?" HoSeok called him when he didn't answer. YoonGi turned to the side, his eyes meeting HoSeok's.

YoonGi cleared his throat. "I'm already an expert at controlling my emotions so I can already control my hybrid."

"But why can't I?" JungKook pouts.

"Maybe because you're too young. How old are you?" YoonGi drank water from his glass.

"108. How about you?"

"202. Look, you are still young."

"Is that your age? You look young!" SeokJin interrupted the conversation between the two hybirds, eyes round.

"Not my age. It's the age of my hybird."

"YoonGi Hyung is still one year younger than you." JungKook stuck out his tongue, teased SeokJin.

"NamJoon, do you already know what time we will end our schedule today?" YoonGi looked at the leader.

"I'm afraid today we have a lot of shoots. No expiration time is set. I did a search yesterday. Maybe a full moon will last for 7 hours 21 minutes. Which is 6:53 p.m to 2:32 a.m." NamJoon tells YoonGi about the upcoming full moon.

"Let's do our best so we can get back early today!" TaeHyung cheered so that everyone didn't think too much about it and just do their best. They don't know what will happen today but they only hope for the best.
