Chapter 5: Day Eight

Hyemin’s POV

“Ireona! Pali ireona!!” a voice said.

I groaned and rolled on my bed to lay on my right side. I hugged my comforter closer to me as I welcome the sleep coming back to me. I was dreaming of eating a huge platter of chocolate-dipped strawberry that my sister gave me from her last drama.

I felt my blanket being pulled away from my tight grip, and the voice came back “Yah! If you don’t wake up right now I’m not going to the park with you!”

I sat up straight, rubbing my eyes and ignoring the fact that I was about to eat the strawberry. I saw my sister standing in front of me, phone in hand. I heard a flash and I realized she took a picture of me “Hahaha, Neomu kiyeowo”

I pouted at my sister. She was pretty as always today. She was wearing faded white boyfriend jeans, black and white striped shirt. It was simple but it suited her a lot. “Unnie, delete that!”

“No, you’re so cute here!” she giggled. I stood up and saw myself in the picture, my eyes went wide. I didn’t remove my braid from yesterday so now some of it was sticking out, there was a small trail of dried saliva at the end of my lips and I had my eyes closed, my closed fist rubbing the sleepiness away.

My sleeping camisole was loose at the left side revealing a lot more skin than necessary “Unnie!!! Delete that please!”

She laughed and ran outside to Kevin. I looked at him and pointed at the phone “Kevin, grab the phone!”

“Noo!” my sister disagreed. Even if Kevin was my manager, he always had a thing for my sister, though he doesn’t admit it.

“What’s up ladies?” he asked, laughing at my appearance right now. I didn’t care since he was used to me being like this.

“Look!” Unnie showed Kevin the picture. Then Kevin bursted out in laughter “That’s so cute, you have to send me that!”

I glared at the ‘couple’ in front of me “Fine, I’m going to go take a shower. You guys owe me for that picture! My pictures doesn’t come free!” I stuck my tongue out.

I took a bath and changed into casual clothes. For the first time in months, I was excited again. Unnie and I are going to the amusement park like she promised me!

I wore a high waisted blue skirt, a black shirt that I tucked in and a green loose shirt that was unbuttoned. I had a thin brown belt in my waist above the shirt and I paired it with brown boots.

I went down and I ate the Belgian waffles they prepared for me, I topped it with strawberry syrup and ate it. After I finished, Kevin drove us to the amusement park.

My sister and I wore sunglasses so we won’t catch the attention of other people; it was a huge risk since my sister is a wide-known actress and a model too. In my opinion though, it was easier to catch attention of others. Luckily a lot was wearing shades this sunny morning.

No wait, even if it was cloudy and dark, some people would still wear shades.

I ran inside as soon as I got my ticket on my wrist, I may look like a kid right now, but who cares, I was happy this way.

No one’s POV

Hyemin and Hyeshin were laughing while spinning the teacups. Kevin was at the bench near it attending to his sick stomach, he watched the two siblings as they spun the cup faster and faster.

They rode the roller coaster twice, the ship at the back seats, the water log, and the spinning machine thing. After all that, they haven’t, even once, taken a break from the rides.
