2. Pogues and..a kook? (I)

(this was the day after the hurricane so it's like when they go to the hotel)

*school is finished bc nothing fun happens in there*

Pogues pov:

"Bro that must have been the most boring school day in history." Pope says dramatically.
"Agreed." John B said.
"Well what are we gonna do now?" Kiara said.
"Well what are you thinking?" JJ says.
"I'm thinking that storm surge pushed all the crabs to the marsh maze." John b says.
"What about the DSC? Wasn't that today?" JJ asks.
"Nah there not coming out here." John b laughed.
"Sounds like that's what we're doing then!" Kiara said smiling.
"One last thing..." JJ says looking over towards his sister flirting with a random kook. "We have to take her"
Kiara groaned.
"Why" all the pogues questioned obviously annoyed they had to take a kook with them.
"Because I'm not leaving her in the house with my dad alone without Alex!" JJ said sternly.which they all of course understood
"fine." John b said. "Go get her kie."
Kiara looked at John b with disgust but then realising her wasn't changing his mind she rolled her eyes and walked over towards Josie and Sarah who were talking next to the lockers.

Kiaras POV:

Once I stormed off away from the boys I kept looking at Josie. She was pretty, I can't lie but she looks like a bitch. Once I got behind her I tapped her shoulder. Sarah looked at me and her famous kook princess smile dropped. Josie turned around as she must have seen the look on her "best friends" face. I smiles weakly at her, unable to say anything as I looked into her eyes .
"Hi?" Josie said confused.
"Sorry! Hi Josie, I'm JJs friend, kiara." I said snapping out of it.
"yeah I know my brother and Sarah always talk about..you" she said looking me up and down.
I laughed awkwardly "well JJ's told me to tell you that you have to come hang out with us instead of going home because Alex isn't there." I said. I know she's my ex best friends new best friend but damn was she hot.
"Alright" she smiled and waved goodbye to Sarah as we walked towards the pogues.

Josies POV:
"there's my lil sis!" JJ said joyfully but enough to sound sarcastic.
I smiled at him and then John b, Pope and then my eyes set on Kiara. She was so pretty, I wanted to be like her, live her life but I can't and never will.

"Right! Time to go get changed into swim gear!" John b says to get rid of the awkward silence. Everyone then gets into the van, me being the last one kiara helped me up by giving me her hand to hold, so I gave her a small smile and she looked away almost flattered..? Weird.

We all went to John bs to change because we all had swimming wear at his house due to basically living there.

"Right, you two girls can go into a bedroom and change and the boys will stay here.ok?" John b says.

Me and kiara stared at each other. And quickly nodded and went into the bedroom.
