Ahri has been thinking a lot, mostly about her biological parents. She was also curious about the fact that her adoptive parents didn't tell her the truth. They've always said that Ahri's parents are dead.
She also felt disgusted because a men who took care of her and loved her, wants her to marry a psychopathic pervert. She felt like her siblings and Hyunjin are the only people she can trust.
It was currently weekend and Ahri haven't spoken to her adoptive parents at all throughout this week. Princess Ahri was currently heading to the address, her biological father texted her.
She knocked on the door and soon after a pretty young woman opened the door. It was a maid based on her clothes.
Ahri was invited in and the maid took her to the big living room where her biological parents were. "Ahri, you're here" Seojin said and got up from the couch to greet her daughter.
The three of them sat down. Because Seojin knew her daughter was confused as she thought that her birth parents were dead. But now she even found out that her adoptive parents basically stole her.
Seojin's sister was giving birth around the same time as her. But unfortunately the baby didn't survive and died day later. The baby was too weak. Current king pulled some strings and doctors told Seojin that her daughter had passed away but it was her sister's baby.
Seojin's sister named "her" daughter Ahri, as it was supposed to be after Seojin's daughter.
She never saw her cause she almost immediately vanished. Her husband knew everything, why she vanished, and when she is as they were always in contact. Seojin couldn't believe that her daughter died, and thought that the whole situation is suspicious. Cause Ahri was born very healthy and there were no problems.
Ahri came to a conclusion that her adoptive parents kept lying to her. She now hated them, mostly her father who wants her to marry her own stalker.
"Ahri-yah, don't worry about the marriage. We'll take care of it" Her father said as he put his hand on her shoulder to make sure she's ok.
"Well, uh.. I can't marry him anymore even if I wanted to" Ahri said which made her parents confused. "What do you mean?" Seojin asked as she couldn't think of anything. "I like someone else, and I already slept with that someone. I'm not 'clean' to get married with him" Her parents eyes opened wide, but they had to be understanding. They did the same in order to get married.
"You are indeed my daughter.. I had the same idea when I was your age" Seojin made Ahri choke on her water.
"I didn't want to know that" Ahri said and laughed. She might have just met them, but she clearly felt the connection with them. It seemed like they care more than her adoptive parents even though they took care of her really well.

Ahri was laying half naked in Hyunjin's bed and was playing with her phone while he was taking a shower. These two became a real thing really quickly, and had no intention of breaking up. Ahri's biological parents already knew she's been doing things with someone who isn't her fiancé. Her adoptive parents started to get suspicious, as she hasn't been spending as much time in her castle as she used to. Ahri didn't care anymore, she only kept it a secret for Hyunjin's sake.
"You still haven't got dressed?" Hyunjin said as he started drying his hair with a towel. "Why? Do you mind me being half naked in your bed?" He only shook his head and smiled. Soon he laid down on the bed placing his head on her thighs.
"Are you ok?" Hyunjin asked looking into her eyes. "I don't know. I feel betrayed, cause I've mentioned multiple times that if my biological parents were alive I would've want to meet them. But now it turns out they are alive and my adoptive parents basically stole me." Hyunjin held her hand and lightly kissed it.
"You may feel like that right now but it'll pass, so don't worry" he gave her a smile that always made her smile too.
The two always knew how to make each other feel better. After all they've been friends for years and know everything about each other.
At first Ahri was to him like a sister that he never had but at some point he realized that he might have fallen in love with her. Felix knew about it and loved teasing him about it. He found out about their relationship by an accident. By forgetting to knock on Hyunjin's door, he was quite traumatized.
After an hour or so Ahri decided to go home. She really didn't want to, because she was scared that her adoptive parents will say something which she won't like it. Ahri wanted to tell them that she can't get married to Yunho but they'll think that she's disgusting because she did it before marriage and now she's doing it while being engaged to someone.
As soon as Ahri walked into the main hall she saw her family and Yunho with his family. A maid walked up to her and was by her side as Ahri passed by Yunho. "What's going on?" she asked confused. "Well, Prince Yunho came here with a request. He wants you to be checked by a gynecologist to make sure you're able to marry him." My jaw dropped. He was looking at me with his disgusting perverted look.
"I don't have to be checked" Ahri said confidently. "Of course, you don't. I'm sure you're 'clean'." Ahri laughed and she got everyone's attention.
"I don't have to be checked, cause I'm 100% sure that I'm not suitable for this marriage" King got up from his throne, eyes opened wide. "LEE AHRI!" He shouted and Ahri turned around to face him.
"You're not someone who can tell me what to do with my own body. And well, it's not like I'm your daughter" Ahri was confident right now but tomorrow she would probably regret everything that she had done.
"If you're not my daughter, then you don't deserve your title either" Ahri could only laugh. It's not like she wanted this life anyway, at least not with those rules.
"I don't care" She said before leaving. Ahri heard her adoptive mother call her but she never turned around.
They were so good to her and loved her but now she was only stressed because of the marriage thing and because of her birthday being in two months.
Ahri went to someone who will always welcome her with opened arms. Hyunjin...
He didn't mind it at all when she asked him if she can stay with him, he was actually happy that she chose to come to him.
Ahri was exhausted so she soon fell asleep, while Hyunjin walked out of his room and went straight to his father's office.
"Dad" he said as he knocked on the door. "Come in" as soon as he heard his father, he walked into the office. "I want to ask you something." Hyunjin was hesitant at first but he couldn't wait anymore.
"Go ahead. You know you can ask me about anything" Emperor said and smiled to his son. He was shocked when suddenly his son got on his knees.
"You have power. You can make anything happen. So please.. Let me marry Princess Ahri" Emperor couldn't hide his smile when Hyunjin asked him about letting him marry his best friend. "I expected you to fall in love with her one day" he said while laughing. "You really don't have to get on your knees. Come on, get up." Emperor walked up to his son and helped him get up.
"Ahri is a really nice girl and I don't think she should be marrying Yunho. Especially if he's her stalker. I'll talk with Seojin and Taejin about it." Hyunjin smiled as his dad mentioned Ahri's biological parents and not her adoptive ones.
Emperor now had a big mission. To make sure that his son will have a happy future as he chose the girl he truly loves.
