1. Septice
The lore behind her name is that she 'infects' people. Septicemia is known as when bacteria poison the blood. In a similar manner, Septice 'poisons' the people's 'blood' with her existence — meaning that she inserts herself in their lives.
2. Fireus
I (the author) am always delighted to make puns. So mixing Septice's meaning of existence along with her element felt like a big brain move.
We got fire, we got virus, we got Fireus.
3. Gender: Female/Non-binary ?
The reason why Septice seems non-binary is since she refers to herself in JP as 「俺」 (Ore — masculine way to say I/me/myself)).
Even for a woman, saying 「僕」 (Boku — a more formal masculine way to say I/me/myself) is rare.
For her there's no difference whether a person's a male or female, or who doesn't apply to either. She deigns it as insignificant in her long-lived life.
But she sometimes comes across as weird because of that. She has her feminine charms. But she exudes the aura more of a person 'who's there to protect, rather than be protected'. She can move elegant, but comes over aggressive most of the time.
4. Birthday
March 8th was when the lockdown of COVID-19 for me (the author) started.
5. 'Berrylicious Muffin'
It's the quarantine banana bread of Teyvat!
6. Cruciating Suffering
Even for her, there's an underlying suffering. Behind her great flames is the innermost part of the fire cold, where she can't feel any warmth.
(I suppose a not very 'fun' fact)
7. Rafflesia Arnoldii
This flower is the largest parasite plant in the world! This is perfect in accordance to Septice, since she has greatness in herself and has affected many people around the world.
Septice 'takes over the world' by 'spreading her disease around'. That is why her existence seems like a virus.
8. Dendro Slimes
Despite Septice having an element that's highly dangerous to the Dendro slimes, they have a very close bond. This all happened after the Dendro Archon, who Septice is acquainted with, introduced them to her. The green monsters were a way for them to stay in contact, because Septice is always traveling around, unable to settle in one place.
9. Charged Attack = Fidget spinner ??
At the end of the sequence, Septice spins around with her blades pointed outwards. This makes her look like a fidget spinner.
10. Fitra
Because Septice is actually a soloist, she's not used to being in a party. She needs some time to settle down, so her full potential can be unlocked after her Friendship is Lv5.
