Hello Everyone!
I know you waited a long time for this. Trust me, it is weird for me as well as I don't leave a work hanging mid for long but I figured since the story was over, the epilogue could wait as I wasn't able to find the will to write and did not want to write for the sake of it as I genuinely put a lot of thought in this book. So, giving it a half-hearted epilogue wasn't something I wanted.
Also, I am working now along with my studies. This gives me hardly any time to do anything else as I am still struggling to find a balance between work and studies.
Now, let's jump into the epilogue without further ado. Hoping you still remember where we left off-
.....................................
Bani held her head in her hands. She could feel her veins hurt. She looked up and saw the two nags fight and rolled her eyes. Why was she here? She should be with her best friend, planning her wedding! She should be with her family! Or better yet, she should be in her husband's arms, tucked away from the world. His cuddles were the best and made her forget all the pain in the world. However, she was no ordinary person. Being the Sarvashresth Adi Naagin, she had responsibilities.
Today, her responsibilities had made her a spectator of the endless rant between two stupid nags. She wanted to smack both their heads and ask them to settle their dispute themselves but she had to maintain the decorum. She was sitting on a golden throne in the large private hall of the prachin nag mandir. She wasn't feeling too well and the baseless talking was giving her a headache.
'Adi Naagin ki Jai ho'
Bani looked up and saw the Nag gurumaa, who was appointed many years ago after than Jai cruelly killed the three caretakers of Prachin nag mandir.
V: Kr rahe they aunty ji! Ab vo khud aa gaye hai..
Bani sighed in relief as she saw her husband walk inside the halls like her owned the place. It had been a long day and she was glad to see him.
V: Kya krti ho sweetheart? Mai kbse wait kr raha hoon...mujhe lga kahin phirse ye na bhool gayi ho ki mai lene aunga aur ghar chali gayi ho
B: Nahi Veeranshu, bs ye last dispute hai..
V: Kiss baat ki ladai hai..
Veer took off his shades and turned at the two nags. This was when Bani noticed that the two bickering men were huddled in a corner and eyeing Veer with caution. Bani frowned.
