Chapter 17- Did we just create a beautiful friend ship

Hope's POV

After hours of doing it over and over again Wanda's memory came back

"Oh well, we tried." Natasha said

"It's not over. We'll come back in a couple days." I said looking out to Wanda

"Same thing?" Wanda asked

"Same thing. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to mend a broken heart"

"How is she?" Josie whispered to me.

"You know I have supernatural hearing, right? And I'm fine." Rebekah yelled

"Really? 'Cause this is the first time in weeks that you've came out of your room." Josie yelled back

"I know. But I'm out, aren't I?"

"Yeah, but for how long?"

"I don't know, but umm Hope why don't you take Josie on a date? You've had so much going on with all this drama. I'll stay with Natasha and Wanda."

"Tempting, but no."

I looked over at Josie and she looked kinda disappointed.

"Hope go. Nat and I got it. Don't worry."

"Okay. I'm trusting you guys. Keep her out of her room."

"Oh we know exactly what to do."

Rebekah's POV

I took another big sip of my bourbon.

"So tell us about this Jasmine." Natasha said looking over to me

"Well, we met when she was younger. I protected her and her sister as much as I could. My brother killed her sister, and then i was all she had left. I caught  feelings for her, tried not to catch them, but it happened. Shit went down I found out she liked me and we started dating in secret. My brother found out he put a dagger in me. I was "asleep" for some time. When I woke up I went straight back to her. She was different, yet the same. She turned into a vampire and she hung out with a tall man. Which I found out was her best friend, Jasper. He didn't like me at first but I grew on him. Years later I left her. But only because I didn't want her to get hurt. My brother has killed everyone I've ever loved and I didn't want her to be next."

"Wow. That's a lot to take in." Wanda said

"Not even half of it though."

"So wait- let me get this straight, you fell in love with her, your brother found out and "put you to sleep", then when you woke up again you went straight back to her, a couple years later you left her because you didn't want her to get hurt?" Natasha said sorta confused

"Yup."

"Damn. So instead of just running away and living happily with her, you left her because you didn't want her to get hurt, but you still hurt her."

"I couldn't run away. Klaus finds everyone."

"You could've tired. I mean can't you imagine how nice it would've been to have a nice little home far from here, you could've gotten married to her. And have kids."

"Vampires can't have kids, darling." I said

"Adoption. Vampires aren't the only ones. What I'm saying is that you could've had an amazing life with her if you just tried."

"Even if I did do that he would've found us and killed her."

"But she would've died thinking you still loved her with all your heart."
