Hope's POV
Josie and I walked to the back and I drove to the school.
"Okay, let's go to bed."
She nodded and we went inside
"Hope! Can we please talk?"
I turned to face Landon. And so did Josie.
"Okay, fine."
I turned to Josie and kissed her forehead.
"I'll see you in my room in a minute."
"Okay. I'll call Wanda to make sure they're still alive."
"Sounds good. Thanks Jo."
She gave me a warm smile before she left. I watched her go and as she turned the corner I turned to Landon.
"Okay, what's up?"
"I just- I'm sorry. I overreacted I know that. It's just that I really love you, but umm you don't feel the same way and I-I get that. Can we still be friends?"
"I would love that."
"Okay, cool. Oh, uhm, you and Josie look cute together."
"Thank you."
We hugged and I went back to my room. Josie fell asleep with her phone in her hand. I quietly closed the door and walked to my bed. Josie snored and I couldn't help but giggle. I put her phone to charge and turned off the lights before getting in bed.
"I love you Josie."
With that I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
Rebekah's POV
"Hi.."
"Rebekah? How'd you find me?"
"Oh that was all me!!" Wanda yelled from the car.
"Okay..."
"I just- Jasmine- it's just I still really, really love you and-and the real reason I made it seem like I had feelings for Marcel was because I was scared Klaus was going to hurt you. I just wanted to keep you safe. It didn't go as planned though and I'm so sorry. I know I can't change anything that happened. But umm I just needed to tell you that. After years and years of holding that in it feels good to tell you the truth."
I looked at her and she looked hurt and confused.
"I know this is a lot, but I just had to tell you. I didn't love or-or like Marcel at that time, I just didn't want Klaus to find out about us again and kill you. I wouldn't forgive myself if that ever happened."
"So you decided to break my heart instead?!"
"That was my only choice! I couldn't lose you again. I-I wasn't going to let anything happened to you. Even if that meant you hating me for the rest of eternity. But Jasmine..."
I walked up to her and grabbed her hand.
"If you absolutely don't want anything to do with me, then I'll leave and you'll never see me again. Just tell me that you don't love me and I'll go. Just say those 4 words and I'm gone."
"You can't just do that! I love you, I still fucking love you, but I'm just scared! I'm like tickling time boom. Anything bad could set me off."
"I know, Darling, but trust me, I promise I won't hurt you."
She let go of my hand and just looked at me. I couldn't tell if she wanted me to go or stay, so I gave her a small sad smile and slowly backed up and start to walk away. I felt her grab my wrist and turn me to her.
