Drip.
"So, Olixia." He stopped the clicking of the clock and turned to me, his eyes serious. "That's your name, correct?"
I looked back at him, confused, and answered lowly, "That's right. And your George?"
I noticed him bite back a laugh. He walked to the front of my seat and squinted his eyes. "Sapnap, actually."
He just stared at me quietly while I sat confused on my chair. What's this guys deal? He's literally just staring at me. Well, perhaps he's not all that bad, he turned off the clock, anyways... But still, this is weird.
"Did you want something?" I asked him with my eyebrow raised, slightly. He stared once more before he stood back up and stepped back once.
"Well, I was just curious." He looked me up and down and then his eyes locked on my bandaged neck. "Punz cut your throat with a sword, right? Like a netherite sword?"
Who the-
"Light blue hoodie guy?" I asked. He nodded. "Well, yeah, I guess so."
Netherite. Netherite. I've never heard of it. Must've been something recently discovered, then. Well, maybe not recently, three-thousand years of time, it could've been discovered in any of those years.
"Well, then..." He walked up to me, kneeled down, and looked closely at my bandaged neck. "Can I take off the bandage?"
I looked at him, hesitantly, but let out a small sigh and nodded. He unraveled the bandage from my neck and his eyes quickly widened, his expression... surprised? He took a step back from me and sat down, it seemed like he was processing something.
"What? What?" I tried to lift my hand to feel my neck but, of course, I couldn't. "What's wrong?"
I saw him open his mouth to talk, but then close it, again. Finally, he spoke, "I-It's gone... The cut on your neck, from the netherite sword, is completely gone! It, like, disappeared!"
"That doesn't make any sense..." It does. "How could it have just... disappeared?" I heal easily is how.
"Sapnap?" another voice called the white-bandana man sitting in front of me, confused. The guy with white goggles appeared—George?—and noticed Sapnap on the floor, "What are you doing here? You know Dream doesn't want us coming in here." He looked up at me and I could see that he noticed my completely unaffected neck. "Holy shi-"
"George! Sapnap! Where are you?" the voice—Dream—called out to the two men who were currently processing who knows what. And then, the masked man appeared at the door. "What are you guys doing here? You know your not supposed to be here."
Sapnap lifted his head and pointed to me, specifically, my neck. "Holy shit." Dream walked up to me and kneeled down, then stared hard at it.
"What's so weird about it?" I asked, trying to make it seem like it was normal. I couldn't put any suspicion on myself, if they found out, god knows what would happen.
"What are you?" Sapnap asked.
Hahaha—I'm immortal.
"I'm a human by the name of Olixia." I looked at them with a serious face and sighed again, heavily this time.
I just wanted to go back to when I was laying on that long, dewy, grass with the beautiful flowers and the bees and the phenomenal blue sky and even when I was having a nice chat with Wilbur. It was so simple, then, so easy.
Not anymore.
"No one could survive an injury like that, not by a netherite sword. Maybe, if it were a diamond or iron sword, we'd believe you, but netherite..." George leaned back on the wall and mumbled on, "that's just not possible."
