Chapter 43: Misumi vs. Aoi

A/N: Sorry that it took me so long to update this story. Was having a serious case of writer block writhing this chapter and the fight. The writer's block is still pretty bad that I didn't even finish the fight yet. Through hopefully next chapter my writer's block will be gone. So I can continue this story without any problems.

Anyway onto the chapter!

Misumi headed down the steps and onto the field arena. Misumi studied her opponent Aoi as she walked to the opposite side of her.

Aoi was a girl with brown hair in a ponytail. She had brown wolf ears along with green eyes and a brown wolf tail. It was easy to tell she was most likely a taijutsu specialist based on her muscular body shape.

'This will be a fun match. Though I was hoping I would get Senju instead when he made changes to the match. Oh well, she looked like she could be a fun opponent as well.' Aoi thought, looking at Misumi as she walked to her side of the field.

"Are you both ready?" The proctor asked, looking at both opponents.

"Yes," Misumi said, getting into a fighting stance.

"Yep," Aoi replied.

"Alright begin!"

Aoi then grabbed five shurikens and threw them towards them. Misumi then spun her body around creating her signature shield of water deflecting the incoming Shuriken.

"If you pay attention during my twin brothers match. You should know that won't work easily on me," Misumi stated.

"Oh, I'm just getting started. Unlike that loud blonde earlier. I'm not stupid," Aoi stated.

"Alright then show me what you do then, wolf girl," Misumi said waiting for Aoi's next move.

"Well, you will just see," Aoi said, getting on the ground with her hands and legs placed like a four-legged creature. "Let's see if you can handle this," she said as she was surrounded by a cloud of smoke.

'What is she planning now with that new stance?' Misumi thought with narrow eyes as the smoke was surrounding Aoi's body.

The smoke then cleared after a couple of more minutes to reveal a brown instead of Misumi. Everyone looked at the wolf curiously about what was going to happen next.

"What's going on? Why is there a wolf in that girl's place instead of here!?" Naruto shouted confused.

"It's some kind of transformation jutsu, but she didn't seem to need to use a hand sign to do it," Shikamaru said.

'This must be the Ōkami kekkei genkai. That I read about once trying to find something about how to use my wood-style kekkei genkai until going to the Third Hokage for help learning how to use it.' Kaiya thought, staring at the wolf who was moving her back paw like she was getting ready to charge.

"That's because it is not an ordinary transformation jutsu. It's the Ōkami clan kekkei genkai. A kekkei genkai that gives the user the ability to transform their body into a wolf," Kaiya explained. "It is not a kekkei you see often with the clan living in the Hidden grass village."

"A kekkei genkai what is that again?" Naruto asked, confused. Kaiya sighed and shook her head wondering how an idiot like him could be a ninja.

"What a drag," Shikamaru said. "A kekkei genkai is a bloodline trait, like Sasuke's Sharingan," He explained.

"Oh, right bloodline trait. I remember hearing that term now," Naruto said, nodding his head as he focused his attention back on the match.

"Let's see if your defense shield can handle this," Aoi said.

"I'm ready whenever you bring it on," Misumi replied.

"Yeah, Misumi, show that wolf girl what you're made of!" Aito cheered from up in the crowd.

"Oh don't think you can beat me that easily!" Aoi shouted running straight towards Misumi with a gleam in her eyes.

'You better not lose to this wolf girl. After all, only I'm allowed to beat you in a match. My Hyuga teammate and rival.' Aito thought as he watched Aoi running towards who was in a ready stance to defend the upcoming attack.

"We will just see about that," Misumi said as she watched Aoi running at her on all fours in her new wolf form.

"Oh yes, we!" Aoi yelled as she increased her running speed getting ready to attack her opponent.
