Chapter 1

I was born into a royal vampire kinda family. I'm a vampire princess,Princess Kristine Morningstar. I'm special because vampires usually don't have children but my mum is human and my dad is a vampire king,so I'm pretty much human and vampire. Half-breed. I'm seventeen.....and one years old all my life I've lived in doors. My mum is dead,she died when I was younger and my dad and I have been living with that pain. So because of that,my vampire dad never let me go out of the castle,or if I must,I never leave without a guard or just at the gates of the building. I love my dad so much,I didn't mind about his rules,I understand he wants to protect me so I try my very best to obey whatever he tells me. Many times my best friend who is also a vampire tells me to join her and jump through the fences but I refuse to because I've lived like this and I'm happy this way.

"Come on Kris, you're seventeen, you're not his baby anymore" Alexis groaned. I crossed my arms and walked all the way to the ceiling. My light purple hair hung in the air and I glared at her then she rolled her eyes.
"Come down bat" I shook my head. She got up and walked to the window. "Kris have you ever walked past that gate?" I chuckled and walked along the ceiling. I swung off the chandelier and landed on my feet. "No,and I don't plan to" She glared at me and ran her hand over her face. "Can you have fun?!" I nodded and jumped on the chandelier. I swung side to side,she watched me with a cocked brow and a hung open mouth and I winked at her. "On a more serious note Kristine,talk to Damon about it,let him see that you're not a baby anymore and you can totally take care of your ass!" I giggled and ran my flat tongue over the tip of my fangs. "I'll be going now Kris-" She pulled me into a hug and I embraced her warmly. "I love you so much okay? Please try to have fun" I laughed a little and she walked over to the window and jumped off.

I lay on my queen sized bed and put my hand under my head and crossed my legs over each other. I thought about what Alexis said. Am I that boring? I really don't have a social life. I ran a hand through my hair,just then a knock came on the door. I sat up and dressed my hair neatly. "Who's that?" I asked politely. "It's Dammy" Oh Damon,my dad. I gave him that nickname when I was very little cause that's what my mum said to call him. "Come in" The door opened and my dad floated across the room and sat next to me. "You can walk dad"
"I know,I don't feel like...Alexis is gone already?"
"Yeah,I guess she was bored" I played with the black laced sleeve I was wearing.

"Whatever do you mean batsy" Damon pulled me close to him,I felt his coldness against mine. It brought chills down my spine. Should I tell him? Would it break his heart? I do really want to see the world outside. I really do. I'm so nervous. Okay,deep breaths,Kristine MorningStar you're seventeen, you're a grown ass now,he should see that. I sat up straight and cleared my throat twice then I looked him straight in his eyes.

"Dad,I want to leave this castle..."
