Chapter 6

"Who's house? You met someone? Who?" I rubbed my temples slightly.
"It's getting dark Alexis, let's go h-oh shit, Damon's gonna kill me"

"Princess!" I heard a loud male voice shout.
"You jinxed it" Alexis shrugged. I spun around quickly and met a couple of guards running at full vampire speed towards me.
"Stop!!" I yelled before they could get any closer to me and Alexis.
"Princess Kristine,why did you leave the castle! King Damon is very angry and worried about you" Tyrus,my father's personal guard said to me. Alexis scoffed.
I glanced at her and then at the guards.

"Go back to the castle,I can come by myself"
"Absolutely not my princess,King Damon instructed us to return with you or he'll have our heads on a palate"
"I don't care! I can come on my own, I'm not a child anymore!" I yelled in anger and my fangs came out on my lips and secondly I'm really hungry. A hungry girl is an angry girl ya know? Tyrus looked down at his feet immediately and nodded. "Of course my princess" And turned to go with the other guards. Alexis nudged me and whispered.
"It's kinda wired, we're already going home" I rolled my eyes. "Not with them"
"Uh,no Kris" She glared at the guards ahead of us.

"Where is she!! Where is my princess!!" I heard Damon's voice as the guards walked in the throne room. I tried to make Alexis go home but she insisted to come with me,but when she got to the castle gates,the guards said my father ordered not to allow her come in. I took in deep breaths and let it out slowly. My black eyes opened and I walked into to meet my raging father.
As soon as his eyes saw me,he growled and moved towards me quickly. He grabbed my shoulders and glared into my face.
"Are you okay Princess?" He asked roughly but calmly. I nodded slowly. "But you're hurting my shoulder" He sniffed the air and narrowed his eyes before letting me go.

"I smell...something different..." He sniffed me again and narrowed his eyes. "It smells like...a dog...where had you been Kristine" I swallowed hard. I know I've been walking around but I hadn't been close to a dog? Had I?
"Answer my question Kristine" He interrupted my thoughts. "And why did you leave this castle without my consent" I frowned. "I'm old enough" Damon glared at me with his beady black eyes. "You are just eighteen thousand years old what do you know about the world!" That's when I lost it.
"How I'm I supposed to "know" the world when you won't let me out?!" I made quotes in the air when I said know.
"Do not speak to me that way Kristine!" His deep voice bounced off the walls. I shivered and bit my lower lip. I'm so hungry. He glared at me without saying anything after that.
"I'm sorry father" My eyes were on the ground.

"You will be locked up in your room"
"What?!"
"I am not done speaking" Damon glared at me and continued. "You will not leave your room, punishment for disobeying my orders. In this kingdom,I make the rules and everyone is espected to obey" He finished and walked away without even looking at me. "You can't be serious father! You can't lock me up!"
"Tyrus!"
"Yes your Majesty"
"Take her to her room and lock it up,she wouldn't be leaving that room for disobeying my orders,if she refuses to go into the room,then take her to the Pit,I believe she wouldn't want that"

Tyrus nodded and bowed as my 'wicked' father left the throne room. My mouth was just hung open. I couldn't say anything. I was really hurt. He promised not to be harsh on me again. He's wronged me twice today. Promising and failing? And now locking me up in my room?
Am I begining hate my father?
Hell,yes I am....
