After class, Helena talked to the professor and asked if she could speak with Dumbledore. He agreed, and escorted her to his office, then left once she got through the door. The headmaster was sitting at his desk. "Professor Dumbledore, may I ask you abou-"

"About your lycanthropy?"

"Y-yes, sir. I just need to know if there's anywhere I can go when it's a full moon."

The old man nodded. "Seventeen years ago, a student named Remus Lupin attended Hogwarts for the first time. Like you, he was a werewolf. He was good friends with James Potter and two others as well. James and his friends built the Shrieking Shack for him to stay in during his transformations. I suppose, it can be reused," Dumbledore told the first year. "Just seal the doors, and you're free to roam in there."

Ellie nodded and smiled. "Will I have a free pass for roaming the halls after hours on each full moon, so I can get to the shack?" She asked.

"Of course, Miss Tonks," the headmaster replied. Ellie looked around the room for a moment, then another question popped into her mind. "Professor... do you know why I was attacked all those years ago?"

"Yes. Voldemort and his followers believed that muggleborns were inferior to half-bloods, and that being a pureblood meant you had special privileges. Your mother, Andromeda, was born into the Black family, a pureblooded family. They agreed with Voldemort, of course, so if you didn't follow their course, they disowned you. She fell in love with and married your father, Ted. But marrying a muggleborn was highly frowned upon in the Black family, so they disowned your mother. They thought of her as a blood traitor. To 'punish' your mum for loving your dad, Voldemort sent Fenrir Greyback on you. Fenrir Greyback is a werewolf who supports the Death Eaters. Anyways, Voldemort knew he didn't want to kill anyone in your family, it just wasn't worth it. But he wanted to scare your family. It's one thing if an adult turns into a werewolf, but it's another of a child goes through it, because of a child is a werewolf, then they'll spend almost their whole lives as one. They knew that attacking a child had a greater fear factor than attacking an adult. It would discourage other purebloods from having kids with muggleborns, because they could be attacked too," Dumbledore apprised.

Ellie nodded. "Should I tell my friends the truth about... what... I am?" The young girl asked.

"The truth is always better than living out a lie."

It was the first Quidditch game of the season. All students were required to come, even though only half the houses were competing in the that specific game. Gryffindor was playing Ravenclaw, and both sides were hyped for the beginning of the season.

Ellie sat down in the Hufflepuff section, along with her friends.

"The seeker and one of the chasers are graduating this year. Do you think we could be on the Quidditch team?" Cedric asked.

The girl shrugged. "Maybe. I'm not sure if I'm good enough. Besides, I'd have to miss a game every full moon..." she sighed. "Are you sure you're okay with having a werewolf as a friend?"

"Of course I am, Ellie. Were you okay last night in the Shrieking Shack?" Cedric asked.

Elena nodded. "Yeah. But my muscles still ache a bit from the transformation," she replied. The girl looked up and noticed a familiar face: Gryffindor keeper. He was the brunet boy that sat next to her on the train.

"Cedric? Who is he? The boy in front of the hoops over there?" Ellie questioned.

The Hufflepuff looked over. "That's Oliver Wood. He's a second year. Gryffindor, obviously," he informed.
