Helena Tonks was peacefully sleeping in her bed on a cold October night. "She'll be five in only two more months," Andromeda smiled.

Ted watched the child happily.

Eight year old Nymphadora with bubblegum pink hair watched as well.

"I suppose it's time we get you to bed, Dora," Ted sighed.

The eldest child frowned. "Just one more hour? Please!" She begged.

Andromeda looked at the time. "It's too late for another hour. Besides, there's a war going on right now and you can't be up and about."

The girl sighed and went into her room to go to bed.

The parents looked at each other, worried. "What if they come after us, Ted?" Andromeda asked worriedly.

The pair hugged. "They won't. I know we're safe. They won't come after us and they definitely won't kill us," Ted assured.

The pair went into the master bedroom and said their goodnights.

At around two in the morning, Helena was heard screaming and crying in pain. She was left with scars on her face and an unfortunate fate; to turn into a wolf every full moon.

The young witch got out of bed and put her curly, blonde hair in a high ponytail. She gently put a scrunchie in, making sure not to pull too hard.

"Ready for your first day, El?" The older child smiled to her sister.

Helena looked to her older sister, a gleam in her eyes. "I-I think so, Dora," She stuttered. The first year looked in her reflection once again. Surely enough, the pinkish brown streaks across her face had not faded.

"What's wrong, Ellie?" Her sister asked.

Tears swelled up in the younger girl's eyes as she stared in her own reflection. "I'm a monster. An ugly monster. I'm probably going to get expelled." The blonde's sobs filled the room as the eldest child gave her a hug.

"You're not a monster, Helena Tonks. You are a young, beautiful witch who has so much potential. Your lycanthropy doesn't define you." The siblings hugged each other. "Don't get down on yourself, sis. You're worth everything to me," Nymphadora told her sister.

The girls left the room and got in the car.

Before long, they were at Platform 9 and 3/4 in King's Cross Station. The Tonks sisters boarded the train.

Ellie sat down in an empty compartment and hid her face from the world.

A group of Gryffindor boys, not too much older than Ellie walked past.

"We'll just sit in here, there's not enough room in any other compartment," a brunet said. The three of them sat down and continued to talk.

"So, you guys trying out for Quidditch this year?" The one boy asked.

The other two confirmed that they were.

"I'm going to try out for Keeper. Because didn't Brooks graduate?" The first one spoke.

"Yeah, he did," the blond replied.

The tall one asked, "Why don't you want to be a seeker? It's the most prized position in the game?"
